I find your question amusing and yes our team is mainly western and yes we need Chinese advisors and team members to develop a product that fits the Chinese taste. The good news is that we have the Chinese team members and advisors to design matching content, Chinese PR agencies to develop and execute the best fitting communication strategy. But you shall know, that Chinese people are more attracted by Western goods and culture, and this is more relevant among the generation Y and Z. Therefore we used a mixed strategy to gain popularity. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
