Yeah it seems people have been having some issues with it. There are some better alternatives actually.

I have transitioned to https://faucetbox.com/

This site will also allow you to create LTC, DOGE and a few other coin faucets with a simple script.

Thanks for the info! I think the real link is Monstermegs.com. Maybe some typo on your side. After first year, the price is $29.95/month, a bit high. I don't know whether I will be able to cover it but will try for a few months, how it goes though.

I don't see why he doesn't just disable any API usage. There's no point providing it if he isn't going to keep it up.
At least he's changed a bit of the site, it's been too long with no contact.

I'll probably be making a faucet script myself when I get some time and internet again, so people can use that.
