It can be sobering for many to check the price of BTC on the BitcoinTalk joining date of their profile.

It can be even more sobering if lurking time is also taken into account.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#charts

On mine, June 12 2016 BTC was $692.70!

On the day of Satoshi's last post, December 12 2010, it was about $0.20 - On it's second pump from $0.08 - $ parity by the next February.

When i registered at bitcointalk at June 24, 2017, the price of bitcoin at that time was around 2,800 US dollars.
I know bitcoin way back in 2016 because my officemates joined bitcointalk in 2012 - 2013 and they always talked a lot about it.
At first i dont really give attention to it but when i hear them talking and they seems pretty happy i check it out and become surprised.
The value of it suddenly become x3 to the last time i checked.
At that time, i believe that bitcoin has truly great potential and i started joining in bitcointalk while also investing in bitcoin.

I just joined bitcointalk last year of november but I only continued it this year in the month of february and I was really shock about the price becausr it was in a dip. The price goes only $3k and many user panic coz they think that it was the end oh bitcoin in the crypto industry but look at now where you can find bitcoin huh. It was still alive and kicking rising up its price again.

Those were completely different times, back in 2011. I had no one to talk about bitcoin in RL so forum was vital for me. I mostly read at the beginning.
Anyway, bitcoin price was fluctuating from $4.82 to $5.03 on the day I joined forum - September 27, 2011.

This is awesome  Cheesy you could simply buy one thousand of bitcoin but you could also sell the same amount of easily, and hodling for the 7 years with full trust is almost impossible.

When i first entered bitcoin market almost during April 2016,its price was just 650 dollars and we experienced a bear market at that time and we expected bitcoin price to fall down to 550 dollars. But all of a sudden, during January 1st of 2017, bitcoin price crossed 1,000 dollars and it was a great news at that time.

I've been around since the days of the $500 coin. At least on this forum. I knew of Bitcoin well before that, and used it as a currency on other forums and for other things. I remember when Bitcoin went above $80 for the first time and I thought to myself "That's way too expensive, I have no clue why anyone is paying that much. I'll just wait for a price dip." At one point I had 100's of Bitcoin that I should've just held onto, instead of spending frivolously.

I think it's going to be really enjoyable to look back and see that Bitcoin is the most in-demand currency and remember the good ole' days.

When i first joined bitcoin market it the price was just about a thousand dollars. Few months after i joined bitcoin, the bitcoin price has continued to increase and still in bitcoin market upto now. When i started in bitcointalk i think the price was $3000 that time. I didnt quite believe that we can earn while being updated with the current events of bitcoin. The foeum has really helped me a lot.

$197. I really didn't expect the price to nearly 6X within the space of a few weeks.

And I really really REALLY did not expect the price to dip below that level well over a year after that.

On the day when I joined in bitcointalk, Bitcoin price is 1 Bitcoin (BTC) = 475.13 USD (12th September 2014). That's still very low compare today. I wish I can turn back time to that day and buy some bitcoin and sell it now Cheesy

I joined Bitcointalk some time in June of 2017. During that month, Bitcoin was only at $2,000 plus. I was still a newbie at that time so I am not yet very familiar with the historical movements of Bitcoin's price. Of course, I was very excited to create my own Bitcoin wallet and deposit there my first set of Bitcoin. I only invested a little amount since I was still a newbie. But I have already heard of Bitcoin before I joined Bitcointalk.

The price of bitcoin when I've join in this bitcointalk forum was 17k already. I am just new here but I see the changing movement of bitcoin price. Sometimes it gives light the holders even altcoins holders specially if it will increase but it gives also a worry maybe I will lose this or maybe it will continues to crash. I believed bitcoin price will increase more and more.

I could not clearly remember how much BTC was when I signed in/registered with Bitcointalk back in October 2017. But I am pretty sure it was more than $10,000. BTC's run towards $20,000 was on the process the time I got in. It is amazing to think that BTC was once $0.10! But look at it now! Same thing could happen with some of the other coins. It's just a matter of time.

When i was joined and discovered Bitcointalk the value of Bitcoin are around $200 - $250 and i didn't expect that it goes bubble and become successful, Think that if you buyed bulk of bitcoins in the price off around $200 - $250  you'll become a millionaire, The luckiest person in this industry are the people who left their bitcoins in their wallets for a long time and get back when price is on the moon and we didn't expect that, In the past few years you can buy pizza with 4BTC and now think how much 4BTC? It's cliche that the first time i joined btctalk the price was really cheap and my first signature campaign paid me 0.1 BTC weekly which about  $ 24 or something, as we can see 0.1 btc is a big money right now. Well I regret deeply when i didn't buy much at that time. One thing that i really like not too much ICOs at that time, it wasn't hard to select whther the project is good or not,

I joined bitcointalk last year and the bitcoin price was $ 4600, when compared to the bitcoin price now it costs 2x as much, bitcoin development is not only there, it will be far from now, and I should be more eager to get it.
hard work.
