I am curious - does anyone feel like this is a good deal?  If they could deliver by December / January it seems like it would be - but boy do they seem to have a bad rap right now.

The delivery date is suspect.  From what I've read on the various forums, the takeaway is to avoid BFL unless you like donating to a thief.

Oh my gosh.... DO NOT ORDER FROM B.F.L.
I can't believe that they are still selling the jalapeno's when they still havent caught up on their fucking backlog of orders!
I ordered a jally in october 2012 for "Shipping next month", Seven months later, I got a refund and bought 5gh/s@5watts from Bitfury, Took Bitfury 13 days to get me my hardware in my lap and hashing

Wow - that is pretty harsh.  It doesn't seem like they go out of their way to rectify this based on the text on their site either.

The email ad says the Monarch ships in "early 2014" right in the email. Don't expect it in December.

The older devices are in stock and ship immediately.
