Hi,

I wanted to deposit money into USD using BTC-E . I found option of wiretransfer for the UK account but no sort code was provided.

How can I deposit money if I only have UK CC/account into the USD account?

Hey mate,

I am new here but I have been on BTC-E for about a month now.

Basically you use the 'Send money abroad' option. That will give you the fields you need to send the funds. BTC-E now operates a 2000 dollar/euro minimum deposit so be wary of that.

I found that sending from HSBC (in my case) wasn't possible as there isn't enough space for the 'details of payment' in the form. You need to include the exact 'details of payment' in your wire transfer otherwise they won't credit you. I have seen other people fall foul to this and have a nightmare getting their funds back/credit. Plus they will probably ask for ID etc which will take an age to sort out, their support won't be that helpful either.

My recommendation would be to purchase BitCoins etc privately through BitBargain, Bittylicious, Localbitcoins or simply friends. Transfer these to BTC-E and voila, away you go. That's how I have gone about it anyway.

Happy trading!
