Do you trust ERC20 tokens?

I like Ethereum platform, they offer the possibility of easy token creation.

Problem is that someone somewhere can create a token, an ico and scam all the people.

Tools like etherscan to check the token are neccesary.

Yes, I trust ERC20 tokens. Whether it is scam or not depends on its project. Be it a token or coin, you have to research properly before investing in the project to prevent falling for scam.

Not exactly although I do realize that they are a good way to make a lot of money if you invest in them when they are still cheap for now. So far this year looks to be the year for ERC20 tokens and a lot of them are doing well at this point which makes them a good investment. I really don't trust any coins that are not in the first top ten coins because they are not that sure

Doesn't really make any difference what type of token it is as to whether you should trust it or not. There's a lot of scams on ETH as it's easier to make an ERC20 token but that's not ETHs fault. Do plenty of research and 99% of the time you'll be fine.

I have seen ERC20 tokens are shit total nonsense with not value for it. There are developers who buy ERC20 smart contract address and name it without no purpose at the same time i have seen many that have good prospects.

Created on the platform markers ERC 20 is not fraud, do not forget that there are projects that have promoted simply unsuccessful projects!

I have always believed that the projects are well-developed. Dev team, enthusiasm, transparency! maybe it's token or altcoin! Present! The price of Bitcoin and altcoin are down, but I always believe the market will grow up in next times!

I trust some bit not all, trusting all ERC20 tokens is not possible because not all of them can give your expectations, so not trusting all of them is just a proper way of making yourself safe from any possibility that can disappoint you.

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

I think this is a classic mix between technology and people using that technology. the technology is innocent of the criminal acts of others. I personally think that the token ERC20 is a great idea.

What is your best judgement to determine that those erc20 coins are scams. Before doing investment make sure that you are aware on what is going on and what you are going to do with your capital for investment. You are aware with the risk. Most of the tokens is not scam, if you have review their whitepaper, those tokens have a specific task and its functions while some of it is just a worthless coins. Its your job and nothing else to find a good tokens for your good investment.
