This chat was just a worthless waste of time. Why did you bother us with this VanIdiot bs?
I didn't know that this forum allows silently deleting of posts. Now my post misses context. But nevermind.

Some of the profanity got reported and deleted by a moderator. Sometimes better to report than get into a shouting match about someone's mother (the reply after yours was about that)

Whats the biggest amount someone could withdraw? Anything near 9BTC?
I got around 7BTC out.

rockxie said, he had a stuck transfer of 250BTC, which would be around 15.4BTC to withdraw now.
We can only speculate whether that is the full amount he's owed though..

Ok... then its me only...

Whats the biggest amount someone could withdraw? Anything near 9BTC?
You can withdraw 6.175% of the amount you have stuck in WeExchange.

I know but i can login but not withdraw because the portal claims my password is wrong even though i could log in with it before. Ukyo didnt fix that so i was wondering if im the only one with a higher bitcoin amount that cant withdraw. Its still not fixed even though i complain since the start of the portal.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

It is very possible that the extreme checks put on the withdraw form are causing the issue.
Can you try changing your password to something simple to test with?
Either through the lost password feature or simply on main WeExchange site?

Really man? You can't be serious...

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.
Secure. Private. Untraceable.

I believe he meant next monday, why on earth would anyone reference "monday" when they are in that day, he would of stated today, or tuesday.

He did mean the 23rd. The way he expressed it on IRC was a bit clearer. He also said 10 hours ago that it might be ready on xmas day, if not then probably the day after.

At this point I'd rather wait until the new year to get this cleared up.  A fuck-up over the holidays will really be a mess, and the we exchange claim site had numerous issues around its launch (and maybe continues to.)

The shares and accumulated dividends will come to us soon enough.

If Ukyo is ready to comment on where the coins are that's something I'd welcome as soon as possible.

I am still spending my free time on getting the AM portal.
It is close to being done but I need to spend a few hours to do additional security checks and audits.
Being that it is already Christmas eve I feel that I will not have time to work on this until tomorrow evening at the earliest.
I am sorry for the delays but I will work to get this wrapped up asap.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding,
Ukyo / Jon

I now made a new password through weexchange and now it tells me everytime
Code:
Bitcoind resources currently overloaded, please try back in about 10 minutes.

*facepalm*

Why should it be overworked? Its not like it is a portal in a running website... its a claim portal only. That means maybe 5 requests a hour. Nothing that would justify bitcoind is overworked...

*sigh*

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Many people have had that error and been able to claim their coins, so no need to worry (about the 6.175% at least).

I believe that it is a temporary fix to the problem Ukyo mentioned with bitcoind shortly before <the issue(s?)> happened and shit hit the fan. I think he said that it is the amount of keys in the wallet and not the amount of requests that are making bitcoind struggle.

If true then this would mean ukyo was able to import all the previous addresses and now have the same problem he had before. But that would mean the missing bitcoins arent at the old addresses anymore. Stolen or hacked or something.

I think he still has the control of the coins. Unlike Danny, who said the coins were lost, Ukyo said that they weren't available.
The scenario that I believe is the most likely is that he is not currently allowed to return the coins because of some legal dispute. Remember that Ukyo is running an Australian exchange based in the US which was connected directly to a stock exchange that has been shut down.. I can imagine some legal issues could arise from that.

Since when did legal disputes happen where you cannot say you are in a legal dispute? When megaupload servers were seized we knew about it instantly and were able to follow the case reasonably well.

Could ukyo not have just said 1 month ago "we cannot return the coins now because of a legal dispute with the SEC".

And why could the 6% be returned now and not earlier?

Ukyo said in the beginning of November that he had "a rather important and very positive announcement" about weex. Remember that it doesn't have to be a problem with a government agency, it could be another company.

He had to create the claim site so he could manage the distribution of available coins and people could see the status of their stuck funds. He might also had to get it cleared legally.

...

Are you suggesting that Danny doesn't fully comprehend the situation he is involved in, or that he is lying about the coins being "lost"?

"I can't believe that!" said Alice.
"Can't you?" the Queen said in a pitying tone. "Try again: draw a long breath, and shut your eyes."
Alice laughed. "There's no use trying," she said: "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

Why is a claim portal for the AM shares necessary in the first place. Every other stock was able to use the share list. Or is it due to running a fractional reserve?
