GamerToken is taking a different approach than many of our industry peers. We’re creating a developer supported marketplace made up of veterans from the gaming industry that understand the needs and concerns of gamers. We are building an ecosystem that will run in parallel with, and enhance existing communities and in-game economies. Gaming is part of our DNA and we want to help gamers benefit from blockchain technology in the simplest and most user-friendly way.

The team is also already working with and integrating the GamerToken ecosystem into existing businesses. The partnership with the gamigo group is an exciting first step that provides a large community of passionate gamers the ability to start trading and helping design items on the marketplace. We’ll be announcing other notable developers and publishers joining the GamerToken ecosystem in the coming weeks and months.

Another difference that we see is that players can earn rewards not only in-game as tokens, but also from helping developers design new assets. The Designer’s Corner is where developers will be able to post bounties for skin designs, map designs, and other community oriented crowdsourcing. Community members will be able to stake GamerToken in order to joining monthly design contests, earn rewards, and take part in shaping content within popular games. 

Something that we are very proud of is the working prototypes that are already live and fully functional. Community members have much more than just an idea and a roadmap to get behind. Our community can interact and play with a demo of our vision in the form of our first crypto-integrated game with Fiesta Online. You can earn tokens for creating a new character, slaying monsters, and completing quests.

The GamerToken Marketplace is also available in demo form to test out buying and selling tokenized items. When it’s fully launched, users will have enhanced ownership over their rare items which will be 100% controlled by them in their wallet. Rare items, such as legendary skins, will be able to be issued in limited quantities by our developer partner using our API. Creating rare items as non-fungible ERC-721 powered tokens makes their value dependent on their supply and unique history. Offering a mechanism for verifiability will empower traders with the ability to ensure scarcity in an ecosystem that is currently awash with fraud and uncertainty.

Another week, another update!

We have just released a new version of our Marketplace Demo with some changes as requested by the community, as well as some Quality-of-Life updates, and they are live right now so come and give them a try!

Here are the latest changes:

Inventory page:
- Users can now scroll through the inventory pages, allowing those with large inventories to see all their assets
- Selected items are now highlighted
- Items on the Marketplace are marked with an icon
- Users can filter their items by those currently for sale or not for sale
- More details for items which are currently on the Marketplace
- Users can now filter items by your chosen game
- Game logos and names have been added to the item overview boxes

So with these changes in place, we need you to come along and test them! The feedback we receive from our community is essential in helping us grow and to focus on the issues that may not arise during internal testing. The best place to let us know suggestions you think would be a great fit, features you would like to see added to GamerToken or any problems you may have, is in our active Telegram group here. Really ?? i wasting my time to play in beta and "receive test tokens", and "stay be aware ..." "tokens are remove after some time..." if a working hard on to make test happens, what benefits i have in future    it´s a joke .... (My spend time it´s Money)  Another thing is  plataform dont have invite friends to beta to earn with references invites ... and is to bored to play alone... a tried see another players ingame,  to join to a guild our to make a new friend list.. but cannot see anybody, and play alone for all the time ... Game Token deserves alot of corrections to all this things, and need explain how real benefit to wasting your time playing... and whats happens after test finish...? a lost all my tokens and start again, buy token no, no this is really a joke...
