Price is driving away speculative miners.  Now you'll see difficulty and price drop until all is consolidated and then we'll take the next up leg.

it must be the government who is trying to shutdown bitcoin, by taking out miners one by one.

be careful you miners, it might be you next.

Anyone else hoping most miners will drop out and the ones left will be around for the surge up in price?

Of course the least profitable miners will drop as price falls. More miners will join when price rises. Everyone should understand and expect that relationship- there's nothing wrong or concerning about it.
