I had hopes for the coin when it was first introduced but wondered what happened when the price went so low.  It seems well designed.

Solo mining is rife with orphans right now. Switch to one of the pools.

What is the current supply?
We need a blockchain explorer (can't calculate market cap without this). Also I already see a 100k+ wall.

Doesn't seem too bad. Still need an explorer, the sooner the better.
What is the total projected supply?

250 million coins will be minted over the next 100 years or so. The reward halves every 3.7 years. This is all detailed in the original thread.

You should include it in this one too.

Just got done uploading the block chain. Should be faster to download it this way than through the client. Smiley

Place the contents in your C:\users\YOURNAME\appdata\roaming\stablecoin folder and restart the client.

I can't seem to get cgminer to work with the coin-base pool. It just sits there doing nothing.
Not sure if anyone here can help.. tried it with an ANC pool and it works just fine.

Edit accordingly

Edit accordingly

My .bat looks like "cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://www.coin-base.org:3402 -u user -p pass -I 18"

as per the getting started instructions on coin-base which says: "cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://coin-base.org:3402 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password"

And like I said: ANC pool works just fine, but not this one.

Err, pool mining, right. Disregard my last post.

Your worker name and password are incorrect. Set up a worker on the pool and use the info it gives you.

Nah, I've double and triple checked. But anyway, I'll try again later. Thanks anyway.

There's also some other active pools if you dig through the original SBC thread. Might be worth checking those out.

Also a bit of news from the pool you were on:
