If you cant deposit or withdrawl at cryptsy it means only the few thousands SBC ppl have on cryptsy are being traded. If this lasts 5 more days the price is gona rise gigantic. But be ware after deposits are able again the price will fall.

See a 15k ask volume vs about 45k bid.

There's still a lot of sell orders people can go through. We'll see if the price keeps raising or if it falls after a while.

Price should easily get to 0.0006, it's previous high. It was well on its way much higher if the issues hadn't come up. Of course these issues are fixed now but it may take a little while to get its momentum back.

I remember those times. It would be amazing if it got back to that level of momentum, before the old block explorer went AWAL and the price got to its recent levels.

https://www.miningpool.co has been updated to version 1.5  Smiley

Thanks for updating so quickly. I was a little worried when I first found out about the update.

The previous high was on Dec 4th. It should be able to regain its momentum in less than a week.

But you can deposit and withdrawal BTC which in turn you can buy/sell SBC. The only thing you cant do is do a transfer of SBC from one cryptsy account to another. Which I still contend is weird.

So Cryptsy has taken SBC down and thats the reason I cant see any of my coins anymore? I got a bit worried there, well I guess they will show up soon.

Keep up the good work with the coin artos, I believe in you. Thats why I'm invested in this coin and not any of the others.

Guys, a little bit of help would be appreciated.

Already upgraded my client to 1.5, but it is still not syncing completely with the blockchain, it intermittently reports that there are another 5-6k blocks that need to be synced. This disappears after awhile.

1) Will this go away after block 317,000? Or is it something completely independent?
2) Will adding/updating the nodes help?
3) I was previously mining on miners-pool.eu and currently there is a huge chunk of coins which I have yet to receive. Is there a way to ensure I get these coins before block 317,000?

I apologize if I have any of the concepts down incorrectly.

Also, three cheers to Artos for trooping along to make SBC a success! Give the guy a medal already!

P.S. At present, these are the nodes that I have

Code:

addnode=108.186.237.29
addnode=109.121.82.231
addnode=184.171.221.204
addnode=109.80.94.251
addnode=93.138.167.14
addnode=31.207.20.162
addnode=188.126.8.14
addnode=198.143.188.42
addnode=113.162.188.201
addnode=203.59.132.204
addnode=86.22.130.144
addnode=59.167.189.49
addnode=72.84.189.238
addnode=85.217.147.117
addnote=66.228.60.13

Please help!

Reference is to the fact that on Cryptsy they have disabled the SBC balance wallet so you can't transfer in or out SBC.  Therefore can only circulate within the exchange. Assumption is they are waiting for the hard fork to occur before restoring, don't know if that is true or not.

But, does that really confine the trading to the exchange? I tried to transfer 2000 SBC to my son's account. Which I wasnt successful. Still shows pending after two days. However, I can sell my SBC for BTC. Then what is to prevent me from withdrawing my BTC?

It doesn't stop you doing that, exactly as you mention.  I guess the SBC that are currently held in Cryptsy must be special  Grin

I suspect the real cause is the fact that SBC is now showing higher on the various sites that list most profitable mining prospects, which then in turn drive attractiveness. The fact there have also been some updates released to tackle the difficulty issue are also seen as positive. Who can guess the alt market!

It's all good... just frustrated to see the aftereffects. I can't speak for everyone but it's just a communication thing for me. We were told there was a fix coming on December 24th... when I hear that, I schedule around that time. Some of us have stepped up to provide supporting infrastructure to the community in the form of pools and block explorers. These have real costs associated with them and I think everyone was hoping for a more prompt resolution to the issue. Instead, to most people it was interpreted as nonchalant.

Communication is key. We need more of it... it's one of the underpinnings spoken of on the StableCoin synopsis: open development and free-moving communication.

I see a future in this coin but we just need more communication from @artos. The strongest coins out there have open, expressive developers behind them. StableCoin should hold itself to the same standard.
I agree. One of my worries about this coin is that Artos will disappear from this coin like he did last summer. To combat that fear it would be nice to have Artos constantly involved, or hire someone to be ever-present in this forum to secretary for him.

Is this update going to affect Stablecoin jumping up and down on coinwarz? For awhile there SBC was staying within the top ten most profitable to mine. I think we are in a new rally right now. Cross your fingers for all new highs.

He's been pretty on top of things...already released an update to the update to alleviate the difficulty and did so with Christmas being 2 days ago...give the guy a break  Grin

Before that there were a couple weeks where not much was going on with this coin.
