Not been a good week for me Sad

Cryptoculture's problems cost me at least 50SBC but as I wasn't aware of them, my miner's been running and using electricity but without being able to connect as all the accounts were deleted. I was splitting between them and hashco.ws (70/30) so I don't know if it would have redirected all the hash to hashco but they've been hacked and lost BTC as well.

Also, coinex, where I have a few coins stored, won't accept my login details anymore and the password reset page doesn't work!

Not exactly reliable or ready for mainstream this alt. currency business is it.

My password reset actually just worked. Too bad coinex still doesn't have SBC yet. Have mined FTC, PXC, and CAP with them. want to switch my SBC to them.

I submitted a request and PM a few days back on behalf of the SBC community to CoinEx to try and make it into their next set of added coins which is meant to be happening real-soon-now. We've done well at getting onto a couple of extra exchanges in the last few weeks so hopefully that will put us in a good position for CoinEx. Let's see if it makes it in for the next batch of updates.

What is everyone's take on this? http://www.reddit.com/r/StableCoin/comments/1tt9pc/accumulation_week_2/

In essence he says that the current difficulty showing as 7.4 is really 1-1.5. Is this true? If so, Mining SBC is very profitable right now.

I believe it's just the opposite, based on the net hash it should be 1-1.5 but due to diff issue it doesn't go down as is capped at 7.4 until block 317000. Based on 24h reward estimates on pools it certainly looks like people are getting number of coins based on 7.4 diff.

The updates should really be dated

I thought Version 1.5 was released back in November 27th, now I'm not sure how outdated I am

Update: Version 1.5 was released yesterday and doesn't take effect until New Year's so if you update now you're still good to go

You should never do that.

I think I've heard of people saying you shouldn't do that before, but I've never had a problem with it. Plus I just don't enjoy managing a thousand alt coin wallets on my computer.

Cryptsy says on their website NOT to do this.

Never mine directly to your Cryptsy wallet.

I'll try again then but their response to my e-mail was very unprofessional and didn't attempt to explain why my password had stopped working or apologise for the inconvenience but simply said "try a shorter password or a different browser".

YOLO....

JK. Going to update my stablecoin wallet now.

started getting into a lot of other alt coins, only now starting to weed out the shit coins so I guess I can justify having a SBC wallet.

Do not self-mine into your Cryptsy wallet. If you're pool mining, you can set your Cryptsy address as your withdrawal address.

Here's a question for all you programmers out there, (the last code I wrote was Fortran 7 in 1979).

Why not a single wallet for all of our altcoins?

Seems like all you would have to do is have a pointer to each block explorer added for each alt-coin the owner selects for his wallet.  I'm sure it would be a bear to bring up to date, but once updated, I don't see that it would be as big a burden on resources as having (as I do) 7 different wallets open all the time.

Somebody has a 8 btc sell order in at 15000, are they nuts?

What about the stablecoin mixing service?
