It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

No PayPal is the biggest piece of junk that should suffer bankruptcy as soon as possible. Killers are nicer to people than PayPal is to its customers.

<helo> funny that this proposal grows the maximum block size to 8GB, and is seen as a compromise
<helo> oh, you don't like a 20x increase? well how about 8192x increase?
<JackH> lmao

Why was this moved to off topic?    Huh

Its hardly about "whether blueberries are very good antioxidants."

this directly affects bitcoin discussion, no?

I don't understand why paypal does this shit. Goddamn, I hope cryptos fucking throttle it to death.

Haha I literally laughed out loud at this for some reason.

Cranberries have very good antibiotic properties.

Being a bitch of the state is eventually going to spoil their business.  They'll either have to lobby to make bitcoin an even more expensive alternative to PayPal for businesses (through needless regulation of course), or loosen up on their highly restrictive policies of trading.

Who knew impeding trade was bad for business!

Back in the early days that thread would be full of "awesome" in the Bitcoin Discussion section. But today it is just a minor news, bitcoin grew so much  Cheesy

If paypal didn't stand in the way of the success of bitcoin they wouldn't  have a problem with me.  They have been two faced on issues around bitcoin sort of keeping their enemies closer just enough to stab bitcoin in the back.

I say good riddance we don't need no stinkin paypal.
