Apple is certainly a mess of a company.  It does something well then sucks the life out of it and steals others ideas to brand it's own al-la MS.
There are rumors that they are going to do their own digital currency to sidestep BTC and control the flow of the currency.

Apple is the Blackberry of tomorrow. :-)

Also I'm the service manager at a motorcycle shop so I generally can get things for cheaper prices through our wholesale catalogs than I can with bitcoin. Though I've also talked with the owner about bitcoin and we will be accepting it in the future when we launch our ecommerce site.

- Tips (on top of cash tips) to a few people. Also to helpful sites.
- Paying back small debts to friends, co-workers
- A trivial amount of dice games, bitcoin-based shares just for the fun of it

I was recently intending to pay for move out cleaning services in XBT, but they took my initial deposit by CC and then charged the rest to my card shortly after the service was provided before we worked out the details. (I didn't initiate the offer to pay in bitcoin, they advertise it right on their site. I think the original request to pay in bitcoin was simply forgotten between scheduling the booking and the work done several weeks apart.)

On a side note, I just moved continents, and am hoping to buy some food via the takeaway.com network sometime soon too!

(If more retailers/non-US retailers were accepting bitcoin, I'd continue to use it and just replenish my stocks as I spend.)
