I planned to sell this unit in September, but the offers fell through for various reasons. The miner works great and I'm bullish on BTC, but I'd rather hold coin than manage a miner.

Will sell for either BTC or fiat (USD).

Local pickup in San Francisco preferred, or shipping (international is fine) paid by buyer.

Can escrow for non-local sale.

I have absolutely no idea. That's why I started the thread, the going rate is the offers received, by definition. Grin

1.9 shipped in US

When I purchased the miner, the shipping cost was $300 within the US. So your offer of 1.9 BTC is not higher than the 1.6 BTC offer with local pickup.

The forum seller who sold me the unit charged $300 for shipping, so I assume my shipping cost will be similar. Even if shipping is only $200, I'll choose a local sale and no shipping hassle over an extra $100. :-)

So it sounds like I don't have to increase my bid in order to maintain my position. I will anyway.

Just to give an idea on shipping, it cost me $43 to ship a 33 pound, 111 inch package (length + girth) containing a dell 30" monitor from wisconsin to pennsylvania (zone 5) via fedex ground. The person that charged you $300 ripped you off.

I respectfully disagree, $300 is fair for shipping.

A 30 lb. 33x33x12 package insured for $2500 shipped fedex express saver is $280 from CA to TN.  By the time you package the thing and drive it to the fedex store then you've earned that $20, easily.  If you don't have the OEM box and have the store package it then you're out $50.

Offer: PMd.

Nice Question. We probably need some Photos of the miners also if you can post screen of the last few days Graphs (is it constant @ 85 Gh/s?)

btcguy38, your bid of 2.1 BTC shipped (I'm assuming you're not local) is less than my bid of 1.95 BTC local pickup once you take shipping costs, risk, and hassle into account.

Hi all,

I apologize for the delay, I hosted a party last night and went snowboarding for the first time today.  Grin

I can snap a few pictures on Monday. For local pickup, you can of course see the miner in action live and verify that everything is in order.

I posted to Craigslist as well, where I received a shockingly large number of replies. The current best offer is 2 BTC from a Craigslister, which is roughly $2200. I'll update this thread with any additional Craigslist action. I'll close this out tomorrow (Sunday) night.

I might be willing to pay a bit more (and maybe beat the $2300 craigslist offer), but I'd want to know a bit more about it first. Think I might be able to stop by tomorrow and check it out? I'd like to examine hash rates, clock speeds, power draw, and temperatures. Have you tried overclocking it yet?

I'll PM you my email address in about 360 seconds.
