Is it just me, or is watching mtgoxlive.com this morning turning out to be more excitement than this summer's blockbuster films?

Is it just me, or is watching mtgoxlive.com this morning turning out to be more excitement than this summer's blockbuster films? Sure is. I'm also enjoying watching the huge cluster of trades on bitcoinmonitor.com. Trade is down almost 20% from its rapid peak. I have to wonder what the large buyer's intentions were. Create a buying wave of higher prices to later sell into? It didn't last long if that's the case.

I think that was the intention, is our little free market learning quicker and quicker? if we do catch on to the professional trader strategies they will just leave the market I think. our ability to be manipulated is the only reason they are here.

l. o. l. I think churning money out of this tiny, unregulated market is why they're here.

l. o. l. I think churning money out of this tiny, unregulated market is why they're here. that's what I meant, taking advantage of inexperienced traders in an unregulated environment.

I think he essentially took a gamble that there were a lot of other buyers waiting for a rally and he simply didnt get the support he expected. Back to the long slow slide it seems...

I think you are very wrong here. First of all, he may have wanted to just invest in BTC long-term - many people do. That's why you don't worry if you drive the price up much or not because you don't plan to sell before it hits a 100. Second, right now it does not look like a slide at all, 10 is solid and I don't see any fear, price is retained and individual sales are corrected back again and again. I'm bullish for now.

I miss the excitement from the weekend. Right now, watching the charts is like watching paint dry.
