I have posted topics in other boards, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows that rbitco.in website took 3.01 bitcoins from me and the owner of the site (Nilam Doctor) is nowhere to be found. I have tried to contact via email (2 of his emails), facebook (which he friended me), and skype (which he added me).

Here are the transactions:

Well hopefully  Nilam Doctor is  just  too bussy  to  care  for his  customers that  he  forgot  about  this, and  will  get back to you  and  refund  you,  your  money. i hope  he  will contact you  soon and  get this  resolved.

Guys  please tell Nilam Doctor  to  take  his  site  down and  fix  the  bugs. if  it is not a  bug then he is deceiving  his  customers.

I was able to "kinda" get ahold of Nilam... Let me explain...

I happen to be a developer myself and found the complete source code to his site and decided to start going through it to see if I could spot any bugs that might have caused this issue in the first place...

I then began to "test" some of my findings and my IP address became banned. I then logged onto facebook and noticed Nilam was online so I sent him a message telling him I had some things about his website I found which were not the most secure. (thanks to Facebook's "Seen at: xxxxx" feature) I noticed he actually saw my messages. but no response.

I then sent him a message on skype asking if he'd rather discuss it there.

THEN HE FINALLY RESPONDED...

I then proceeded to tell him some things I believe he should change on his website (security reasons) and he thanked me and then I asked him if he'd refund the coins I sent to his website. and well... I'll let you read the last bit of the conversation:

... (discussing stuff about website REDACTED)...

[12/5/13 1:47:52 AM] Nilam Doctor: now!

glad i read this . I wanted to use them as coinbase refuses to allow me to do business there because they did not like my comments on their customer service that sucks .
In light of this information I think doctor is a thief obviously . I tried to go to their site for the last 3 days and it is gone . Probably ran with everyone's cash .

does anyone know of a exchange I can buy/sell on that takes dwolla ? One that lets me do it instantly , not like coinbase and their 4 days wait to get a coin . the only ones I have found so far all want bank transfer and that is too much hassle and takes too long .

Hey Nilam,

Will help if you could clear up the problems with rbitco.in

It is hurting the community when funds go missing. Another chap from Italy who has been complaining on Facebook now.

Best wishes,
Benson

Had sent that 5 days ago. I assume that he is either fixing the problem or settling and closing down the site.

Closing down ?
Dudes I told EVERYone here what the reviews were when I discovered the site, why do people have to get ripped off something to notice the signs that it WAS already discussed that this site could be fake/scam ??

-edit-
I see the issue has been resolved, and I agree if he cant maintain the site he should close it. There are numerous more examples of such events WITHIN the site itself.

Hi,

Since last 2 months I was busy and not checking rbitco.in often, so, some users have had issues with their bitcoins. Now I am completely devoted to rbitco.in and will personally see that all users of rbitco.in get their bitcoins back.

You will have to wait for some time, till I check all the transactions and code validity. I have stopped the site for your benefit. I will upload all the data back with a new format and make sure, you get your bitcoins. They are safe.

Assuring you once again!

P.S. You can write to me to my email nilamdoc@gmail.com or Skype (NilamDoc)

Per http://www.mongodb.org/about/production-deployments/ -

"Real Bitcoin uses MongoDB as their primary database."

Using a NoSQL database as your transaction store is a rookie mistake, I don't think anyone is surprised you had issues and quite probably had your wallets continuously drained. You should not be developing transactional websites at all ever - stick to something arbitrary where eventual consistency is Just Fine(tm).

It is my understanding from my last conversation with Nilam, that all funds have been siphoned out of rbitco.in. He said that he will reimburse from his pocket, but no news after that.

Hi,

All the money has been returned to all the users of rbitco.in. I completed all the formalities and have developed https://ibwt.co.uk. Please also read about me on Bitcoin Magazine http://bitcoinmagazine.com/10537/india-bitcoin-regulation/ Please clear the trust!

Thanks

It is my understanding from my last conversation with Nilam, that all funds have been siphoned out of rbitco.in. He said that he will reimburse from his pocket, but no news after that.

He sent me this message on  April 04, 2014. i messaged him back asking for  a  list of  transactions he did in order for me to  remove the negative trust. But nothing  so far.

Not sure if we should link ibwt with rbitco and raise a scammer tag about them, since he is working on that now.
It may trigger a response or some action.
