Noted. My thinking is along this line. However, see below brief illustration. Note that return gap is more if Z9 is OC-ed  / coin price higher scenario. Say 180 days of mining, probably revenue basis decline is not steep enough below.

If so you would think the hashrate would increase from any timeframe in the last 90 days however it looks like its constant.

So most likely some people like me who got old GPUs like the Radeon 7970 they've just moved on to CN. But it looks like Bitmain isn't producing more of these ASICS or the hashrate would keep increasing.
