This is why we need to stop relying on platforms like twitter, facebook, and bitcointalk....

Not seen anything, they did originally say they would update around the 15th so hopefully soon.

Yes... I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to check their Twitter today - if they say they're shipping the next few hundred batch-1's I'd be very happy!

It’s the evening of the 15th now in China. I’m guessing it will be next week now before they ship. I’m sure someone would have posted here by now if they had received a “shipped” notification.

Monday is the Dragon Boat Festival, so it will probably be at least Tuesday before they announce anything.

When will our refunds come through for spending $2000 on these $850 miners!!!!

I received refund for 1 out of 2 miners yesterday, other 2 weren't eligible for refund. I suggest you open a ticket.

There is no refund, they gave coupons to those who purchased batch 1 and a second Z9 to those who purchased batch 2 at the higher price.

Is there a list of coins that shows which will fork?
Also, does it work on nicehash?

But isn't $850 just a pre-order (50% of value) for the August batch? I think so

I am just anxiously watching my email for a shipping confirmation.  Inno beat Bitmain out the door this time so times a wasting and profit will drop every day they take to get these out the door to us.  Not happy that 77 orders were filled almost a month ago and we are still sitting here waiting.

Yeah. If there aren't reports of shipments on exactly the 20th like they promised I'd be inclined to get a train ticket to their headquarters and shout a bit.

I'm not unhappy - just jealous Smiley . Some of those 77 spent their 2x$250 coupons already to get in on batch2... and may have their batch1's paid for by the time the second round gets put in the mail. That would be so nice...

Anyone know a better or more accurate difficulty chart for ZEC

https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/zcash-difficulty-chart

Looking at that chart, it shows little difficulty change for the last 3 months.

15% seems very small.

I guess some Nvidia people are mining other coins and some older AMDs like the Radeon series went to CN.

However it seems that all these ASICS aren't having a major effect on the hashrate.... that or they've built them 6 months ago and the difficulty is already averaged in.

5k Inno A9 units plus 10k Bitmain Z9 and difficulty will double.

You will earn more than the difference in the time between the batches, especially if you OC.

Not really. It still doesn't make much sense to screw over batch 1 investors. Here's the math behind it:

$2000-$850 = $1150 <- total difference that you need to make up

Estimated profits (ASIC is OC-ed to 15k sols, conservative)

   1st week of mining: $30 per day * 7 days = $210
   2nd week of mining: $25 per day * 7 days = $175
   3rd week of mining: $20 per day * 7 days = $140
   4th week of mining: $15 per day * 7 days = $105
   5th week of mining: $12.5 per day * 7 days = $87.5
   6th week of mining: $10 per day * 7 days = $70
   7th week of mining: $8 per day * 7 days = $56
+ 8th week of mining: $6 per day * 7 days = $42
-----------------------------------------------------------
Total value mined after 8 weeks (2 months = equal time to receive new batch orders which only cost $850 per Z9 ASIC) = $885.5

You would have earned more if you just waited and bought the $850 version. To be specific you would have $300 ($1150-850) more if you simply buy the latest batch. Fu bitmain.
