Whatever the influential person says is a gift to someone else, even if the one out of his mouth is dirt.
Bitcoin is well known, but there are still many people who do not understand about the world of cryptography and I think it's good enough to promote bitcoin to a layman. Maybe some of his fans are also trying to buy bitcoin.

It may have minimal to nothing effect on the value of bitcoin in the market. But the mere fact that one of the most recognizable person in the world is into bitcoin is free publicity.
