I remember there was a profit factor in megaminer with some default values, but I did not see it in Forager. Maybe I will look at the situation after I get the other rigs switched to Forager/nicehash.

Maybe some people mining with Forager can make a comment on the other pools they are finding useful compared to nicehash? SOme recommendation?

This thread is a little quiet, I am surprised because Forager is working MUCH better than MM or MPM.

The profit factor is there. In general 0.8 (as in 80%) would be reasonably safe

I'm very interested in this program as not used before.

Do I need to configure all the coin wallets on machine, download them all and create addresses.

Also what are the future plans for this tool? you make dev fee cut from it?

You can use autoexchange pools and get paid in BTC/LTC (depending on pool support) if you don't want to mess with many wallets
You can also add specific coin wallets and use WhatToMine and CoinCalc for profit calculations for pools that don't autoexchange

I am continuously working on it for more than half a year already, and plan to continue updating for newer miners and pools
As for features, I have already added many features not present in other tools, and I'm open for suggestions for more Wink

There is a configurable Donation period, by default set to 15mins/day (~1%)

This is what it looks like currently with RX480. Note that CPU is not mining because profit below configured MinProfit (in my case 0.5$)
Obviously hashrates will depend on your hardware

Glad to see that Forager took back NVidia miners cleanup and algo optimizations after tests with greenTea https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4862278.0 Smiley

4ward, please send me a personal message, because your settings do not allow me to send it myself. I have one question that needs discussion.

This neat tool is really amazing, however i have a few open questions:
On Restart does it always start to benchmark? How to avoid this, as it takes really long time to test the non-working Algo-Miner-Gpu-combinations...
There are many miners which are not working, only a few support my current setup, how do i exclude those miner-software from benchmarking?
How to force only one errorous test per tested miner-algo combination, not 3?
thx

On restart it runs a benchmark on any non-benchmarked combinations

You can disable non-working miners using "ExcludeMiners_AMD =" where AMD is the device group. You can also simply remove the miner json files, but if you do it in config, you can more easily migrate your changes to new version

Currently its hardcoded to 3 attempts

Also, there is a new version in the git master (still not as a release) with less miners active by default (without the less profitable). They are still available but disabled by default

What is your current hardware/os/drivers? Which miners you have issues with?
I can probably optimize the setup more, but I need more details Smiley

this is the change commit:
https://github.com/yuzi-co/Forager/commit/4f3091d178fefedd81a5174ed588ac7a9be7e6dd

Also, if you are using drivers with CUDA 9.1, it might explain the issues with some miners

In most cases I only include CUDA 9.2 miner versions (when there are several option), and some miners only exist for 9.2
I need to think how can I support several versions

no hassle, still many miners are working, will let the benchmark run until all miner-algo-combis are complete, then i try to update nvidia again, hope the 398 will then be working.
