Is it the "Blockchain" app?
What name would you give to the smallest unit of bitcoin (0.00000001)? sat. What name would you give to 100 sats? bit. 1 bit = 1 uBTC. 1,000,000 bits = 1 BTC. It's bits

Yes,

But I would recommend just using Blockchain.info wallet (synced to your phone app) as a hot wallet only. What I mean by this, is store the bulk of your bitcoins in an offline/secure wallet; two good examples of these would be a securely generated paper wallet or perhaps an instance of Armory running on a known-clean, permanently offline machine.

Then you can be safe to transfer a few BTC (or whatever you need) into an address in your blockchain.info wallet, for easy sending to others from your phone as please.
Not your keys, not your coins.

Yes, blockchain mobile wallet is one of the good alternative.

You can also access and use online wallet (ie inputs.io) via mobile browser, I believe.  Smiley

You could use a web browser to visit a mobile wallet site, like inputs.io, or blockchain.info.

I don't think Apple allows wallet apps in the App Store.

No no no no no.

Don't use the Blockchain.info wallet app!!

It will send your transactions without a fee and it could easily take a day or more for them to arrive! And you can't cancel them in the meantime.

It is pretty much useless until this is fixed!

Isn't there an option on your Account to automatically add a fee?  I've never tried sending BTC from the block chain app.

Though it makes sense as I've heard other people complain of this issue.

i think an ipad is better than an iphone because you can actully send them via mtgox or btce instead of waiting like the guy said for a whole day which is to long and i wouldnt trust an iphone for sending btc maybe later thats just my opinion i would use mtgox or btce not an app.
