:-/ It is sad to read this. But who knows, maybe they run a ponzi scheme, maybe an accountant worker of them stole coins or maybe they are been blackmailed by russian hackers, who knows.... Glad to know some of you have your coins back  Smiley

UPDATE: BTC-e fixed the problem, the money is back in my account. The actions I took were:

holy shit, btc-e is run by russians? i would not trust them with a cent then. no offense though, but a lot of scams from that country.

I'm using coinbase and it seems pretty legit. I trust an SF based venture because I'm guessing it has a bunch of VC funding and won't be tempted to dip into user accounts.

All these issues I keep seeing about shady payment processing reminds me of the early days of the poker boom when you never felt like your money was 100% safe and had to deal with a lot of small foreign companies. Hopefully this gets all sorted out with time as bigger players get in the crypto currency market.

I am not sure why any legit banks have got in on it. It seems like there is enough money and potential there to make it valuable. Maybe they are worried about the regulatory aspects of it.
