I heard of Algorand when the team came to China to attend a few forums, Recently they raised capital of $62M which is a huge amount.

Algorand found by MIT prof Silvio Micali who is the world class cryptographer & the recipient of the Turing Award, his background make this project attractive worldwide, they claimed to solve the problem of "Impossible Trinity" & the possibility of fork will desend to zero, both the team & their vision seem wonderful, but there is also comments on their incentive mechanism.

So how do you think of this project & their vision and if they will be next big thing, all insight welcomed.

Since the project is making headway with results of what they're offering in terms of the future we'll have to see as anything said right now is speculations but, the fact they're tackling the impossible trinity is indeed a big deal and thus have room to meet the expectation of a lot of people for the success of this project. In due time we'll see the results the project can offer first hand.

It might be, but that doesn't just neglect that the whole bitcoin project was built by a genius too, but the price is not that high still. So it might emerge, but not to neglect the volatility of any currency.

That is a good news, but it is still all hypothetical. If they manage to solve the problem of the "Impossible Trinity" and comes up with its real life use, it will bring revolution in the economic world. Let's see what happens.

Algorand has been developed for a few years. It is a platform that promises to deliver decentralization, scalability and security. It seems it has potential given the huge capital they have raised.
