Let me quickly introduce my new widget: it allows to display a chart of your favorite bitcoins directly on your homescreen :

* One click to refresh or flip to the next timeframe (select them one by one in the settings).
** Double click to enter into the settings.
*** Three clicks will take you to the awesome StockTwits #bitcoin stream ($BCOIN)

 

I'm joining this forum to get some feedback from users / beta testers. It should help me improve the widget further. Thank you !

It's very easy to use :

STEP 1.) Select one of the major exchange:

mtgoxUSD
bitstampUSD
btceUSD
localbtcUSD
mtgoxEUR
btcdeEUR
mtgoxJPY
mtgoxGBP
localbtcGBP
mtgoxCHF
btcnCNY
anxhkHKD
bitcurexPLN
virtexCAD

STEP 2.) Select your preferred chart type:

Candlestick
Closing line
Median Price
OHLC (Open-High-Low-Close)
Typical Price
Weighted Close

STEP 3.) Do you want to see price bands added to the charts ?

Bollinger Band ?
Donchian Channel ?
SMA 20 +/-10% (SMA = Simpel Moving Average)

STEP 4.) Select a few timeframes ....

1 day
2 days
5 days
10 days
1 month
2 months
3 months
4 months
5 months
6 months
1 year
2 years
4 years
8 years
All Data available

=> every click on the widget will 'cycle through' the choosen timeframes ...

STEP 5.) Click on OK !!


It's very easy, isn't it ? 

PS: If click on "More Options" : you can also add 2 moving averages (Simple, Exponential, Triangular, Weighted) using 4 periods (10, 25, 50, 200).
You have the option to display Volumes bars or not. Option to force the scaling method (normal, log, percent or timeframe dependant), option to display Parabolic SAR on charts.

PS2 : You can put this widget on your lock screen !

bitcoincharts.com (source for the charts) does not have a "Time Period" lower than "1 Day". So you mean that you would like to use 1-min or 5-min bars instead of the default "15-min" I guess ? Is that it ?

About the bug you described, I can't retrace it. Could you please explain exactly what you are doing?

So you select only "1 Day" and when you change the Chart Type from "OHLC" to "Median Price" for example, what happens ?
On my tablet everything is running fine, so I don't see where the bug is ?

3 unhappy people so far, mainly because bitcoincharts.com was down a few hours and the charts were not loading up correctly.

Now sorry @nahtnam. I'm focusing on my expertise, which is 100% Android.

But I'm sure there will be members in this forum with some iOS expertise who could easily replicate this Android widget for iOS, isn't it ?

Yes indeed there are some. But they don't work quite well, and certainly not for a widget, which is more 'complex'.
Sorry but I really can't help on iOS.
