EOS/ETH short term

EOS main-net will launch in June, so there is still room for a short-term price increase in May. Then I believe that EOS is already overvalued (14B $ of market cap) for a project with no real use yet.

My personal prediction is that there will be another pump to 25-30$ before main-net launch then a big sell the news price drop to 10$.

Ethereum is a legit project with a real-world usage, so is a no-brainer which coin hold long-term...

Well that's the risk each time that we invest our money we should not just buy the news and make  some actions when we seen things that is ongoing, better to make sure that we do know what is the real usage of certain project before we start investing our money, EOS needs to prove its worth while
ETH already shown its value and why we should keep this progressing project.

I think it is never late to invest in crypto . EOS is in top 10 , so it is worth investing on .  When there will be a sudden pump in the market , there will be
an effect on EOS well which will lead to increase in its price . That according to me will not be a suitable time to invest in Eos . The price is still not that much and we can still afford some minimal amount to invest on it to get great profits in future.

IMHO should wait a little bit for 0.016-0.017 but why you looking on this trading pair, not EOS/USD? All they will depend on BTC behavior, and coming exact with it.

I do not really care about the price of the asset in dollars, since I invest for a long time in the crypt and do not want to leave it even for a short time.
I became interested in this pair only because both coins are reliable, have a large capitalization and their price turned out to be in antiphase. Price ETH increased, and the price of EOS fell, so I saw the possibility of short-term speculation in order to increase the amount of ETH.

To make a decision to invest usually taking pare that have the greatest volume to understand what is happening with the coin. Other pairs charts usually just follow the biggest volume. That is just my IMHO.

for short term eos can be used as a good coin for investment or trading, but for eth we can see if eth has elastic nature and can be used for long or short term. so that's a good choice for you.

I saw the EOS chart it is sudden raise in the short period but after Bitcoin is raise in the Crypto market EOS is completely down. So EOS platform is not supporting to long term and short term investment is our own risk. Because majority of the peoples are expecting a long term relationship but this is not fit for long term many investors are drop the project.

I think it is early to invest and play with eos I completely agree. I think it already did its early pump cause of nice future plans. But its going to be good coin to buy in low level price, for HODLing.

I can't say that's easy to play with EOS price. I remamber when EOS costs 1 $ 7 month ago and no one cares about that. After october 2017 it was a great pump or just founders great sellers but when EOS price went up to 15 $ for 3 month I ddin't know how that happened? They don't even have real working product and they still working on it but people believe to EOS and they bought a lot of EOS. Than all market go down for 4 month and recently I saw to the coinmarketcap and I saw EOS on 5th place. Still I can't understand why people believe to that project. We have ETH as a good, working project with a lot of ICO's and a lof of other platforms like NEO, NEM, Waves etc. But EOS have only promising I guess. Common investor can't win that game cause no one can't explaine why EOS went up so fast. Usually people buy that coin on rumors when price is high. So I don't think that EOS good coin to trade. Of course maybe I'm wrong but usually I don't buy so "pumped projects".

Depends on market. I absolutely agree with tomahawk9 except the point that EOS are overpriced. In fact I think they must be corresponding to ETH (adjusted for the total number). But the risk of massive dump after main net launch is really big. So if you are buying for long term why not to wait? Nearly everything shows all time high in several weeks after entering the exchanges and then drop for time or eternity

this if it is required in accordance with the total number with ETH may be a not bad idea,
but back again with the risk to be gained.

To me, not necessarily.

Just because EOS has been dropping against ETH doesn't mean that EOS itself won't correct when bitcoin correction hits, which it hasn't yet.

The short term movement of EOS will still depend on whether or not bitcoin is able to make its way further up, above $10k. I don't think that we'll be able to hit that during this rally, so a pretty big correction in the altcoin market should occur. EOS has been pumped extremely hard and it makes more sense to buy at the dip than right now.

I'm not holding currently EOS, I sold when the price doubled. Currently there is a high risk of correction. Also, the price versus total supply of EOS was not matching. Still, this is one of the most interesting projects.

in the short run, eos and eth are equally likely to go up, so there's nothing wrong with buying either, or buying one of them in a short time, and for myself I invest more in eth than eos, because I see in a few days this eth has increased significantly, thanks

I do not think that something terrible can happen to the EOS. I have a small amount of EOS - about 5% of the portfolio. I have not yet decided about doing this speculation. As can be seen from the schedule, the mini movement that I assumed had already happened. The question is whether it will continue.

For me EOS at current is a good source of investment if you want profits in short run as prices are slightly pumping and can rise in future so you can have the chance of getting profits buying at lower cost. Whereas the corrections in ETH will be temporary and prices will rise hugely after that. You can have your own decision.

I think such kind of trade can be done now considering sec's upcoming decision on eth, it might be eos or another coin, I don't know much as I don't trade them now but this kind of trade is okay now.

I think it is hard to make a decision between long term or short term for that coin. For me, eos is a promising project, and it might be good to make that decision after following its price for a while more.

it's been losing value for a long time.  serious Support levels are no longer trusted. we need to make new technical analysis.
