Cryptocurrency market to suffer from strong correction

Seems like the recent drop in bitcoin's price was because of law enforcement going against the biggest Korean exchange Upbit.

This exchange was one of the biggest for altcoins trading and that's the reason most of the altcoins are down about 20 percents or more in the last week, people who was invested in bitcoin only didn't really feel the drop as bitcoin went down only about 10% which is not huge compared to altcoins.

Still we have positive news also back to this. I do not why we see the bitcoin price started falling for single bad news and why not we missed to see the bump whenever we see positive adoption.
Newbie investors really does not what is happening in the market and selling it with panicking.
To say exactly we lost around 750 USD and more mate.

I think the reason for such huge dump in the price was because the huge bump was unnatural. I don’t know the reason but it was not according to the market cap. People were happy when the price reached to $20k in just few months. But then corrections started and the price dropped to $6k again. That was the natural price. I think there is nothing to worry about the price.

What is the natural price that you are even talking about bro? It is a market, there is no natural price and it is a highly volatile one. Sure, the huge correction from $19800 was expected and there we already had it to a bit lower than $6k with us not still knowing if the correction is fully over or not, but at least we are still trading outside of the major downtrend presently.

Whatever it is though, the future cannot be predicted and expecting a huge crash like the OP is specifying or a bull run immediately is something that makes no sense.

I think it is for the time being and the future is very bright of all cryptocurrency.

It has been corrected and now the price is according to the market cap and there are no more huge pumps and dumps in the price.

Those corrections are really important as it makes the price high and low but we are there to buy at low and sell high. this thread is happening now, market is really down... in the past weeks my investment was loss over 60% in capital.. i hope correction will stop and all coin will now grow - up.. there are so many people now panicking because of the downturn of almost all coin but they say thus is just a normal situation and the market will recover soon.
i hope in the coming months as we enter the midyear there will be more investor to come-in specially in the last quarter of the year which expected to double or triple the prrice of all coin.

I have been saying this for sometime but I will say it again, you need to stop believing in predictions in which the price is going to recover very soon and it is going to grow as well, I say this because if it does not happen then people are going to be even more disappointed with the market and the chances they panic and sell for a loss will be high, it is better to think the market is going to need years to recover that way if your prediction becomes true you were always ready to hold for that long.

Even if they are the biggest organization in the world they can't control the value of bitcoin because all of the people who are using bitcoins are the stake holder and no one can say that in the future the value of it like that. Only time can tell to us what will happen in future.

If the price of the bitcoin is very low then the investors needs to hold on that is the way to make the value increasing so make a little patience and wait sometimes then it will be normal soon.

Not just hold, seeing a strong correction right now, will just make me to buy more and the lower it gets, the more I buy as long as there is nothing that is fundamentally driving it down that one needs to be worried about.

As long as you are invested in bitcoin then you have nothing to worry about, let those people that have most of their money in altcoins to worry if their coins are going to survive, the only thing you need to worry about bitcoin is to not lose your private key or to have your funds stolen by hackers but as long as you still hold your bitcoin and you are willing to hold for the long term you will unaffected even if that scenario happened.

As long as you are invested in bitcoin then you have nothing to worry about, let those people that have most of their money in altcoins to worry if their coins are going to survive, the only thing you need to worry about bitcoin is to not lose your private key or to have your fund stolen by hackers but as long as you still hold your bitcoin and you are willing to hold for the long term you will unaffected even if that scenario happened.

Some of the people get so much fear for the dump happening and for that we see so much huge sell happening that's why we see that the total market cap is slowly draining and it so much alerting to see.

correction as far as i know is the act of falling of prices but only a small percentage. While crash on the other hand is also an act of price drop but in a big percentage.  Both of these events have already happend and currently been happening to the market of cryptos. But as what ive always said, there is nothing to worry about it because the price can surely become stable later on.

Indeed, I don't think so that corretion is the only thing behind in this phenomena but rather crash was also the reason. And most of the people in this community are now panicking because of this reason which is wrong. In this situation, we should calm and think a countermeasure for this problem, just like what veterans tell is just bear with it and keep holding because it won't last for a long time.

In the previous year cryptocurrencies made a lot of changes in economy and many people investing in lot of money into it but due to some other economical reason the value of ripple currency in this year but not that it will be a little disappointment for older people but the last two months will be best for coming up next month.

The green day is yer to come cannot wait for it to come. Well, we still suffer from this great depression. What we need right now is to invest, lend or buy more crypto it would be a great benefit in the end once the market price goes up. It is still at the middle of the 2018 so I guess positive changes could possibly happen at the end of the year.

If you have 3 bitcoins in your wallet and you can wait for them to come to a better price then wait and do not sell them now as the price is now below the actual price and every coin is tending to come to their actual price which was in the previous year December.
