to those of you guys who plan on spending your BTC on luxury items: just remember that there are plenty of stories around where someone "cashed out" this and that amount of bitcoin for a car or whatever (at a price that is significantly lower than the current rate.. and they usually end up regretting it.

you will look at your lexus as "the car that cost me $1 million dollars."

People here who are saying they will cash out some when it reaches 10k I assume cashed out the same percentage at 1k and $100... I mean it's only 10x what the price is now! And remember we were at $100 not so long ago, so you better put your sell order in now otherwise you might miss it and end up selling at $10500!!!

Also you have to remember there will only ever be 21,000,000 coins and about 13,000,000 around at the moment. If bitcoin reaches 10k then that would indicate a huge rise in people wanting to buy (probably at least 1btc or 1mBTC). We may still be in the early stages waiting on exponential growth. If you own 1BTC at least there is a chance you will be rich in the future.

Hmm.... to be "very rich" in the future (i.e some USD 5 million worth), BTC should climb to $250,000 for me.... In the near future it looks impossible.... In the next few decades... may be possible. I still curse myself for not taking BTCs seriously when I first heard about them.
