Hi guys,

Please check if someone using HitBTC exchange. My Bytom wallet address was change after few days.
It is same to your guys ?

Bitmain was paying my mined BTM to my old HitBTC exhange. Will the BTM get lost ?

Thanks.

Maybe. Create a support ticket requesting Antpool to change your payment address. Also, send an email to HitBTC explaining what happened.

thanks for your feedback. Can you share me the HitBTC support email ?
I had tried to email them for few times (support@hitbtc.com) , but they will never response to my email.

Thanks.

You can create a ticket here
https://support.hitbtc.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000028325

I had found some useful info from HitBTC forum. Hopefully my btm did not disappear.

My deposit address has changed
Sometimes address may be changed automatically after a software update.
It is recommended to check your current address on your Account page regularly and start using your new address once you notice it was changed.
However, the old address usually remains active within certain timeframe to make sure that all preceding transactions are commited.
No worries, your deposit be reflected on your balance as soon as it comes through.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

So to be honest, I am a bit disappointed about the whole Bytom thing. Paid 2800$ with customs etc. and the performance / profit is not as expected because of the fact they shipped much more units than they initially told.
35 Bytom for about 36h mining. Thats not even 20$ (today). Will keep the coins and see. But I expected double profit at least the first days. But it seems others got their unit way earlier, although i got Batch 1 (Germany).

Thats why I am sticking with GPUs. When you get your ASIC the network is already saturated and earnings down. And you can't swith to more profitable algorithm.
With GPUs you simply switch algo and keep mining.

I am mixing. I have both in my farms. ASICS are fine because they are more easy and stupid and have faster ROI in general.
I started with GPUs but added some ASICS and FGPA as soon as some profit was generated.

Guyz - I tried to change speed of the fans...
This shit is screeaming like a pig in my basement and there is no need to be like that - chips have just around 45°C.

U used bitmain-fan-ctrl and pwm in SSH, but this shit doesnt made a change. It doesnt have any fan-ctrl or what?

Could somebody help?
How much temperature could this chips have?
Thinking about giving there some computer fans...

I suggest to disconnect front fan (that what I have done) till they release firmware update. It will drop noise level 50% plus I put under the unit noise cancellation pad. It helped another 10%. Hopefully it helps.

I swapped out both fans for SILVERSTONE FHP Series SST-FHP141-VF, temps don't go above 50 and power at the wall dropped to 280w.

My next test will be to use 2x Phanteks PH-F120MP 120mm PWM High Static Pressure Radiator Fan and or 1x Phanteks + 1x SILVERSTONE. If needed I will put a honeycomb cell on the rear fan.

How were the results with the 2x Phanteks on the B3 miner? Did the miner stay cool enough and how was the noise?

I think this is a common theme with all Antminers now (probably always was). My X3, which did suffer from the big M fork, is chugging along Ok but well short of what whattomine says.

You have to be in it to win it.

$20/day would mean the rig pays itself off in 90 days...

But the SILVERSTONE FHP Series SST-FHP141-VF is a 140mm fan? I was thinking the same thing as you about changing the fans since it does not need to be as cold as 40C.
Yes, it's 140mm but mounts to 120mm spacing. I used it because it was what I had and have used them on older miners before. I actually have this one SILVERSTONE FHP-141 140mm it has a power and quiet switch.

Have you tried the Phanteks fans yet? I was thinking of buying some equal fans here in Sweden.

At the same time I bought the B3 Batch 1 I bought approx. the same value of Bytom outright (2300). So let’s see how long it takes me to mine 2300 Bytom. And it actually needs to be more than to account for electricity. Am at 1328 so far. Next 1000 is going to take awhile, maybe 60-90 days. Will it be worth mining it vs. buying outright?

Similar calculation on my A3 Batch 1. Sia was about .03 USD around the time I got the A3. I could have got about 83k Sia outright. I’ve mined 118k so far, about 5 weeks of that I was hashing with two boards, had to send one for repair. Factor in the cost of electricity and I’m not up by much.

congratulations on the early delivery of the B3.
I am sitting at 375. I have quite a long way to go.

What's everyone's daily BTM earnings at the moment on UUpool or Antpool?

Presently I'm down to about 26 BTM/Day on UUpool.

Hi Guys

Does anyone know when and how BYTOM will promote their currency ? It seems to me that it is only one way to payed of cost of b3. Bitmain as partner should switch on BTM as paying options, this will make this coin more popular and will increase his value.  Huh
