For UUPool do you have to register?

Very disappointed in Antpool and Bitmain for not being ready for people who bought their miners and everything seems to be pretty dark right now.
The Bytom wallet was interesting to say the least too...

UUPool died for a bit and I tried Antpool but it didn't work so I went back to UUPool.  From the U.S. working fine.

Hey guys, i just started mine a few minutes ago and connected to upool as you suggested but on my end i see a very small % of accepted shares. I don't have any rejects but i have a ton of discarded ones - are you observing the same?

After some time it will get better and you will see accepted shares and less discarded ones.  I think we are all looking forward to a good pool getting up and running.

I was running on AntPool but earning nothing, switched to UU Pool and getting the "Socket connect failed: Connection refused" error.

Using the following configuration:

stratum+tcp://btm.uupool.cn:9221
Bytom Wallet Address
123

I have tried listing these in Pool 1 and all 3 Pools and still keep getting the error.  Also have rebooted the machine.

Any advice?

I changed my wallet address to the official Bytom wallet and it is now working.  Slowly, but I am seeing a little payout.

It doesnt seem that the miner monitors fan speed in this miner version. As far I can tell it runs the fans on full and completely skips the fan test cycle that usually occurs post boot with other Bitmain models.

It also runs incredible cool at just under 35 chip temps with sub 30 board temps. Thats with no cooling in a warm weather climate.

Obviously its because of the low wattage requirements. So are these fans total overkill for this miner?

Appears they slapped in stock S9 fans with no rpm governance or checks.

Can anyone confirm this?

Very odd that Antpool is the only pool for Bytom, BUT they report finding 0 blocks. Meanwhile there's a whale miner out there who's up $2M.
