You have to split that money in to all opportuniy by different portfolio, like for BTC 40%, altcoin 50% and for ICO 10%. By split the money like this the risk of investment will be less risk. It depends how big your capital is, if your capital is big then you can choose everything. But if you want a long-term investment then bitcoin is the top choice, because bitcoin has proven strong and it can minimize the risk of coin failure.
