The market of ICO today is very unpredictable and it will be more risky to invest in it. But here you have a chance to earn much more than you earn if you invest in altcoin or Bitcoin.

You have to split that money in to all opportuniy by different portfolio, like for BTC 40%, altcoin 50% and for ICO 10%. By split the money like this the risk of investment will be less risk. To chooce good ICO we should looking for many review of that ICO and also sharing with other expert to more understand fundamental of the project.

Investing in ICO is a very profitable investment, but unfortunately among ICO projects, the level of scams is very large and if you do not know how to choose projects - then you should not invest in ICO, it is better to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, ADA, EOS or other coins. You can also invest in tokens of new projects.

You should invest in already traded altcoins, they will fetch you much profit.
of course I really agree with your opinion, it would be better if we invest in existing altcoin, rather than follow the new coins do ICO. the risk is too great

Depends on how much money you have.
If you have a lot invest in all 3..
If not then invest in Altcoin. ETH or something else.

there are negative developments in the market of cryptographic currencies. all the coins are red and their values are decreasing. For the moment, for me, the bitcoin is right for me. it will make you more money.

I would suggest you to go for ICOs alone as the ROI is much higher in those. But you need to check the projects thoroughly as many scams are out there.
Also do take a good look at the Team, Product, Amount raised and the community, whether it is active or just bounty airdrop hunters.

Invest in ICO with their huge percentage drop and no less inspiring percentage of scammers...bad idea. Invest time in them (bounty, etc.). And leave your money to trade.

You should analyse every point from your list. You must be sure in projects you invest, so spend a little time to search a lot of information. Look at dynamics of the coin, ask yourself if the concept of ICO captures you mind. And always divide your money and don't put all the eggs in one basket (don't invest everything you have in one single project or coin)

I think that everything depends on your capital and how much you are willing to allocate, the best option is to invest in all 3 of the above options

BTC, Altcoin, or ICO increase their risk in turn. The risk of investing in BTC is the lowest. You will hardly lose anything. Investing in ICO is risky. You may lose all of yours, but ICO is also profitable, if you invest in an ICO that is listed on the exchange and has a strong community, investing in ICO is undoubtedly the most profitable.

There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
You need to have a thorough analysis about the ICO projects, read their whitepaper and dig the connections and expertise of the Team. In this way you may reduce the risk in investing ICOs. Yeah we many successful ICO's and has potential to grow in the future.

so it depends on him and I think he can choose what he wants. but to choose one, he needs to make research and he needs to have the knowledge to see which is better for him. for me, it is better to invest in bitcoin and altcoin only, and maybe for investing in ICO, he can use small money because it's too risky to invest in ICO. but I realize that there is a good ICO that will profit in the long-term but it's too difficult to find that ICO and still, we need to wait until the ICO is finished.

The best is to diversify your money into different cryptocurrency. Btc and altcoins for me to invest in these both because Ico is more risky than btc and altcoin. In Ico were not so sure yet if this will be successful so it should analyze where you can get profit.

Risk from ico is bigger than ever in the present time when the projects are becoming similar and repeating the same, there is no improvement, the number of projects is too many but the quality is not good, fake projects are also more, profit is no longer as good as the first days, that made investors lose interest and gradually move to another field. I do not think we should continue to participate in ico, we should aim for a place with longer term benefits, BTC and altcoin the logical choice, and remember not to participate in garbage altcoin because the exchange is in the process of removing those things

My suggestion is BTC. BTC is at least mature. However, ICO is not ideal this year. I did not mean to say ICO project itself. What I mean is that many white papers are well written and very avant-garde. However, objectively, many investment risks are too high. So personal advice is to choose BTC. It is more powerful. This is a product worth your investment.

"Personally I consider trading sometimes enslaving, and if you are a newbie with few information about it, it would not be the best option. As you spend more time in the forum, you can read diverse opinions on the subject that, it will be of great help as prelude to delve into it (Of course, also reading and informing you hard on your part) while, you investing in an ICO that is of great potential."

Invest in the three altogether. However, make sure your investment in bitcoin is bigger than all the two combined or even times two to ten of the value of altcoin and ICO you have invested in. If you have short term profit outlook, you could flip this suggestion to reflect your objectives!

It depends how big your capital is, if your capital is big then you can choose everything. But if you want a long-term investment then bitcoin is the top choice, because bitcoin has proven strong and it can minimize the risk of coin failure.
