my advice if you have good capital there is nothing wrong if you invest in all boats. BTC, altcoin even buying ico tokens can be a good choice for investing
although some of them might prefer to invest by holding bitcoin for a long time.

Best advice is to go to coinmarketcap and look at the first 20 coins by volume, check their historical data and pick those potential ones that have fall to base level, pick as much of them as you can and wait for the bullish run to begin. Reason being that, these are the most likely of coins/tokens to rebound easily once the market starts its upward swing again. These are coins/tokens with real usability and a working product that have done tremendously well in terms of growth over the last couple of months but have sunken as a result of the bearish nature of the market. They will most certainly regain their strengths once the bulls come again. As always, ensure you Do your research. Good luck!

If you do not want to immerse yourself in this wonderful world, just buy a bitcoin and forget about it for 5 years. If you want to increase your capital faster, you need to invest in ICO. Only analyze very carefully, and then quickly lose your money.

Depends on you how much risk you can take and how much experience in this field you have. If you are new to this field and don't have any experience or you want to invest in secure place then go with Bitcoin or some alts which is under 20-30 ranks in CMC. If you can take risk then split your portfolio and spend 30-40% of it in some alts which have low volume but have a great vision and great project. Which have great opportunity in future and rest of your portfolio in btc or some good alts. And about ICO investment you need a lots of experience to identify a good ICO. That's it.

At the moment, the best time to invest in cryptocurrencies, because their price is at the very bottom. The least risk of losing your investments if you make long-term investments in BTC, as it dictates a trend to the whole crypto market.

I would now advise you to refrain from any investment in cryptocurrencies and especially in ICO. The market is still going through hard times and it is extremely unstable and I think that it is likely to fall even lower.

Just analyze some of these projects and look for all the info related to the project because this year is not the year of the ICO and there are many ICOs who have failed sales and many ICOs have entered the market and have not gotten good prices for sale. especially if we as ICO investors certainly know what risks we can accept.

You can go with bitcoin now since price is very low compared to standard 6k usd - 5k usd this mid year of 2018 . Everybody is hoping to have a better price in 2019 so go ahead and buy tons of it .

Today I think it's not the best time for investments. Personally, I would wait for the market U-turn.

Yes, if you want to earn money exactly, then select all three areas, divide your investment fund into equal parts and distribute them into these areas and you will earn money well, and most importantly with minimal risks.
But in case of investment in ICOs he have to care a lot as nowadays many of ICOs get failed and the investors lose their money. Many projects often cannot fulfill their promises and the price of the coin falls down on exchanges. If you want to invest in ICO then try to invest in those ICos which have expert and talented team members. They will work hard to give value to their project.

if investing in ICO is at risk if later scam, investing in bitcoin is also the same thing as altcoin because everything is red, wise in thinking and acting and the need for information to minimize losses

for safer, it is better to invest in bitcoin, but if you want to benefit or grow the assets you have, maybe you can invest in altcoin and ICO, so every thing you choose has a risk so it depends on whether you take risks or not.

In my opinion, the best type of investment in the crypto industry is the purchase of ICO project tokens, just listed on the crypto exchanges. As a rule, at this time the cost of such tokens is significantly reduced and there is a good opportunity to make money on it. In addition, the current situation also provides increased opportunities for earnings. A number of tokens are highly impaired and provide an potential to get a decent profit after the resumption of growth. These are Ethereum and Waves, as well as such tokens like DragonCoin and CyberMiles.

If you have patience , if you're risk taker only then invest in cryptos. Market situation is worst right now. For next few months do not expect something good from cryptos. Though prices of all coins are decreased. But nobody knows when market will grow. Its better to have diversified investment portfolio if you want to cut risk.

Bitcoin is always my first choice of investment and ethereum is number one altcoin besides bitcoin. I not prefer to invest in ICO's  because the market conditions are not good now for ICO investment.
