Is this a joke? If the major world economies collapse and we enter the apocalypse, bitcoin will be useless as well. The economy is the most important aspect of a functioning country. If the dollar suddenly went to 0 overnight, nothing would function and you certainly wouldn't be "rich."

Assuming you're talking about a less severe attack similar to the theory behind that Pelham 123 movie (spoiler: bad guy buys gold, then commits act of terrorism, causing dollar to decrease and gold to increase in value), then that still wouldn't have much of an effect on bitcoin since the majority of the general public doesn't even know what bitcoin is. Gold would go up, bitcoin wouldn't.

China wants to legitimize current/even more military spending and so they do this to keep masses in line , Japan wants reasons to justify bulking up military , in fact Japan wants to spend as much as possible and create massive inflation (abenomics) so the leaders both agree to this long beforehand, and laugh all the way to the bank at people's expense. This is just a bad movie....

In reality, Bitcoin will do better with a good economy which will promote advances in technology which will make Bitcoin a more viable currency to use on a day to day basis.

I think most fiat currencys will inflate like hell and alot of people will lose their work and get very poor. I guess that will happen. I dont want that, but i cant change that. I have to be prepared for that case. If others are to lazy and only watch football and silly Tv shows, thats their problem. Time will tell but so far, iam pretty satisfied with the solutions i made.

You forgot to mention playing with their xBox games they got at a discount at Walmart on Black Thursday/Friday. Next year, they'll be able to purchase same during Grey Wednesday or Tan Tuesday. I think we're still a few years out of having a Maroon Monday.

my limited discussions with anarchists leads me to believe this is true.. i had one guy tell me that, during the dorner case they "spend $20 million trying to capture the guy" which was "more of a tragedy than the innocent people that dorner killed."

i have a feeling that those people would think differently if it were the hammer dropping on them.
