Using a nitrogen for like 3 years and most of the time my experience with the support was very pleasant (and still is).
However, after betting on the certain e-sport match and having it graded instead of canceled i engaged in a discussion with the support, and i dont quite feel that their ruling was justified. I am going to describe the situation here, perphaps having other customers review it and chip in would be useful :
The bet was :
Team DC vs Team Slayers (i did bet on Slayers)
The match that occured :
Team DC vs Team Infusion--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My opinion : Slayers and Infusion are two different teams, and its unfair to grade the bet
Arguments:
1) Team Slayers did not announce a disband, rebrand, or a rename to team Infusion on any internet source
2) Team Slayers have a very different roster compared to Infsuion (only 2 players out of 5 from Slayers played in the 'Infusion')
3) Sites as Joindota, Gosugamers, and Dotabuff threat them as 2 different teams
4) If the similiar situation occured in the "real" sport (f.e. NBA) - i believe the line would never be graded. Imagine that you did bet on Warriors vs Lakers, but instead of Warriors some team named "Tomatoes" with 2 players from Warriors and 3 randoms showed up and played instead. Would it be fair to grade the line normally?

NitroGen's opinion : Slayers are Infusion are the same team
Arguments:
1) Times of the matches are identical
2) Team Infusion has 2 players from team Slayers
3) Some sites like Esports Live Scores and some YouTube channel threat them as a same team
4) If it would be 2 separate teams, the team DC would've played team Slayers later in the tournament(
? - i really disagree here. This point only comes close to making sense if the line itself is ALWAYS correct. Like if there is absolutely 0% chance that there is a line with the incorrect matchup appear ever, which is obviosly false)

Overall, i feel like my arguments make a little more sense and that i am being somewhat angled here.

My opinion: if there are two different teams (Team Infusion and Team Slayers), both sides of the DC vs Slayers bet should be refunded because that game never happened, or was mislabeled. The only way the bet should stand is if Team Infusion IS Team Slayers, and that is a common nickname for them. For example, I've bet on some foreign volleyball and hockey matches on Nitro where the team name doesn't match the name listed as playing in the game on flashscore, so I look it up and I see that both names are referring to the same team, it's just two different things the same group of people are called.
As long as they are two separate teams, the game should be refunded because it didn't happen.
