Thanks for the question. We've always had a disclaimer on our rules page describing our deposit relationship with confirmations:

Deposit Confirmations
Nitrogen reserves the right to require confirmation of user deposits before bets can be placed on the Sportsbook with those funds. Confirmations are a function of Blockchain alone and cannot be influenced in any manner by Nitrogen staff.

That being said, we're being extra careful with the potential activation of BIP 91 this Sunday, and the small transaction risk it might pose. We found this would be the least invasive way to protect player transactions.

It was designed as a temporary measure and we'll update our players when deposits quicken up again. It's certainly not in our interest to impede player activity in any way shape or form.

I think player of nitrogen could adjust since there is already an announcement posted in the site. For me if i need to deposit because i have game to bet i will deposit earlier a day before the game will start and i think there is no problem on that.
But why there is no announcement on the withdrawal? It is same faster than usual?

Withdrawls are largely unaffected, and are processed at the speed in which the Bitcoin Blockchain will allow, which can be quick or slow depending on average block sizes.

Chased about 6 accounts around trying to swap hands and I still find it hard to believe that Nitro can not get this figured out!

I think you should just post the list of players to get them banned instead of mentioning how many players you caught. Probably less of a priority for nitrogen mainly because their main earnings are through  their sport book  and not much from other games.

It has still not been answered and was just tossed under the rug.

You realize you said the same thing about Sadsong's thread, to which there were two players identified in it that are still playing to this day?

I am asking quite simply why those two have not yet been banned. The evidence is straightforward and obvious. They were colluding and folded to one another repeatedly, playing a hand fully every once in a while as to not arouse suspicion. The players in question are samony and flaxuz. They were identified back in May and it is July now.

Nitro does not just take names, I have to actually give them the whole investigation or they just let the cheats off the hook. Its really frustrating when I finally see them ban a few accounts, they never follow through and keep a eye on new accounts doing the same cheating process. Have warned for a long time that poker would become unplayable on their site and we are at that tipping point and I am very familiar with the way Nitro treats poker, have been their since day one.

My post was not me rubbing my ego, seems like that was what you felt I was doing/saying with that post. Its more a frustration for a site that could easily fix this issue and bring in more players. Instead they contribute to the image bitcoin poker has with people that rather play on Pokerstars.

How long before this post is buried with a ad or a soft advertisement from a shill account? Over/Under 30 minutes?

Thanks for the reply. In that case, I think its best if people stop playing poker on the site. Not acting on it, could only mean they don't take poker seriously and will only act on it if people stop playing or boycotting their poker platform.

Not going to happen anytime soon. There will be new players because:

a) colluders will be playing
b) freeroll whores will be playing
c) higher stake players (outside of colluding zones) will be playing


Why do we care if collusion is not stopped at the micro level? Because it sets a foundation of security. If NS is unable to catch the most basic colluders what makes a player feel safe at the higher stake levels?

If you don't like poker try playing a different game like dice which is much easier compared to poker or try sports betting. I myself don't play poker on this site(I only do sports betting) but I always see users complaining about it on chat then support will ask  them to make a ticket and reading the previous posts above sounds like the issue is getting out of hand so best be careful.
