Here are a few FAQs regarding the survivor pool (also found in our NFL Survivor Pool Details/Rules page)

When does this promotion start?
The last day for entries into any pool is Thursday, September 7 @ 17:00 UTC. (Registration for other pools ends a few days before)

When are my picks due?
Each week you must select your pick prior to the scheduled start time of the games being played. For picks on the Thursday night, Saturday, or Sunday morning games, those must be submitted prior to the start of the scheduled time of the match.
The final deadline for picks each week is typically Sunday @ 16:59 UTC. For week 16, the deadline will be on Saturday @ 16:59 UTC.

When does this promotion end?
The NFL Survivor Pool will end after the completion of the regular season. Individual pools may end earlier if all participants are eliminated before the end of the season.

What does the Guaranteed Prize mean?
The Guaranteed Prize means this is the minimum we will award for this pool. If the number of entrants is large enough, then the pool will be larger than the guaranteed amount! 100% of all entries go towards the pool. Nitrogen takes zero (0%) fees.

When are the prizes awarded to the winners?
All prizes for this promotion are awarded into the winners' Nitrogen Sports account by January 1, 2017. In the event of the survivor pool ending earlier (all participants eliminated before the end of the regular season), prizes will be awarded ahead of schedule for any completed/finished survivor pool.

You were giving away this access to the secret or VIP position in this NFL survivor pool to some people who guessed for trivia questions or something like this.
But what is that about and what are the advantages over the ones who are not in this secret VIP member pool?

Currently, there are five (not so) "secret" free pools open.

First one is the most obvious: the Free Pool with 0.5 BTC Guaranteed. For this one, all you need to do is log in and go to the NFL survivor pool page and you'll see that you can immediately join the pool. The second one is the BTC Forum Pool, found at Games and Rounds.

Three other secret free pools, also with their own guaranteed prizes, are also available. One is the Chat Pool (which you mentioned), and the other two found elsewhere in the web. (We won't tell you about it but we can give clues: check our social media pages and a popular forum site )

By the way, you can also choose from the other seven paid pools, buy-ins ranging from 0.002 BTC to 3.0 BTC

I saw this too, they had trivia a week ago on chat for a chance to join the secret pool exclusive for chat members. The advantage here is that you'll have more chances of winning because there won't be a lot of users joining this pool since the access is only given out to users who answered the trivia first. IIRC the prize for this pool was a free bet.

As for your observation about the Chat Pool, you could be correct since it's indeed relatively more difficult to get in that pool (Trivia winners only) and you are also correct that the prize for that one is a free bet (0.3 BTC free bet to be specific).  However, we won't know for sure if it will have the lowest entries, so "more chances of winning" will be decided early September when we see all the entries for each pool. Go ahead and look at the number of entries for the BTC Talk Pool at Games and Rounds, great value there too!

Just to be clear, it's NOT JUST ONE free pool and they have SEPARATE GUARANTEED prizes! There are lots to choose from and all you need to do is qualify for each!

Why are you guys ignoring this?  More and more sites are doing the right thing and giving the bitcoin cash to the customers who held balances at time of the split.  Why is Nitrogen not following suit?

I highly doubt this. Nitrogen has been around for years and is a really profitable business. Running off with the user funds
would be a very short-sighted move. In the long term they will earn enough BTC from their Sportsbook and their other games
without having to resort to cheating.

I suspect they are merely waiting how this whole Bitcoin Cash thing plays out or maybe they are even thinking
about implementing it (I asked if Bitcoin Cash would be allowed for deposits and they answered that they are
monitoring the developments surrounding the split).

It is too early to condemn them for wrongdoing.

Nitrogensports already warned everyone before the split by sharing the blog. Imo that's a good intention already because some casinos don't warn their users. Nitro won't run away with everyone's balance they're already making a lot more.

Samarkand is right I think nitro still needs time because the split just happened 2 weeks ago. They already started renewing everyone's deposit address few days ago maybe they will start giving them out soon.

It's already played out.  They clearly gave it a LOT of thought by suspending withdraws for two days before the fork.  This is an amount of time that was longer than literally every other gambling site or exchange.  The fork happened two weeks ago.  Since then, nearly every other gambling site and exchange has given the bitcoin cash to the people that held the funds at the time of the fork.  There is no reason for Nitrogen to not do the same to it's players.

Maybe they are working on implementing the possibility of betting with your Bitcoin Cash balance. This could
for sure take some time. It would be in their interest to let users gamble with their BCC/BCH, because otherwise
everyone would simply withdraw it.

I wouldn´t be so fast in condemning Nitrogen for keeping the Bitcoin Cash. Let´s revisit this in a month
