This is quite strange, he isnt posting to get activity because hi activity is currently maxed out for this activity period. It seems as if the rewason he is making all these pointless posts in the alt section is to advertise his signature which is a site that offers to mine alts for a very low fee, this seems to be the only incentive for him making all these posts.

I didn't look too deep into it but in his real early posts he seems to be reserving posts for a company..

Are most/all of his posts on the first pages of threads?

I think maybe he is reserving actual good places and plans to sell them later?

Pretty darn entrepreneurial IMO..

Does it break the rules? Maybe.. I'm unsure..

Hey!  I thought you'd left the forum.

These "reserved" posts drive me nuts, because I've seen them months-old, and the person never ended up applying for the campaign that the post was in.  Those posts should be deleted by mods if that happens, but I don't think it's a huge deal now that we have the merit system.  It might increase their activity, but it's not going to be by much just from these types of posts and certainly not enough to rank up with. 

Having said that, this guy looks like he's basically spamming with "reserved" posts, and at the very least these ought to be looked at by mods.  Usually people get in line with "res" and then fill in the details not long afterward.  If he's not doing that, those posts are garbage.

To be honest, it just looks like that user is trying to reserve an early post in the Announcement threads for every shitcoin that gets annoucned... "just in case" the Mining Pool he seems to be shilling (pinchpool) decides they want to add that particular shitcoin to their pool.

Given they haven't been active since 28th April... and last post was over a month ago, I'm guessing their recent posts got reported and deleted or they got tired of reserving all these posts or their shitpool for shitcoins collapsed

I've reported reserve posts in the past which have been deleted. I think it was for one particular signature campaign in the services section and I'm pretty sure it was Hilariousandco who dealt with it, but I might be wrong on that one.

In my opinion reserve posts should only be allowed by the owner of a thread to reserve the post under the OP. I believe theymos has stated before that he would even insert a reply if it was important if someone didn't reserve a post initially. Although, this might of been a few years back and find it unlikely he would do it now that so many people would likely request this.

I deleted them. They're pointless. Looks like pure lazy spam to me and several people seem to be doing this for some reason and there's no good reason unless you're the op and are going to need the next one or two posts to provide further updates. The only other explanation I can think of is they're doing it to 'watch' the thread but you can use the watchlist for that.

Is he crazy? Or just so desperate to get activities? It seems that this is the way he think to get activities without exerting so much effort in creating quality posts. I admit that's a witty move but that is not right. Besides, I'm sure that his "reserved" post will not help him because that kind of posts don't deserve even a single merit.

Anyway, i speculate that Gibbs91_30 was a hacked account. As you will observe, his first to 8th posts are good but then suddenly shift into making "reserved" posts up to present. Well I'm not really sure about that, maybe I'm wrong.
