Hello! Could you explain me some? There are a lot academic papers or textbooks about fiat or stock exhanges. Are there any courses or papers about cryptocurrencies exchange?  What is the conceptual difference between for example poloniex and New York Stock Exchange?
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

the exchanges are loosely based on 'stock exchanges' but you have none of the protection you would on a normal exchange.

coins are nothing like stocks. you cannot short them for instance. wallets fail and you can lose all money without warning.

if you ask basic questions people can help answer them.

please be very cautious before putting your money into crypto trading.
