Its pre-mined and with a huge number under private ownership within a closed system- so it won't be a commodity in the same way that BTC is, but it will probably be successful as it has an extremely easy to use interface- I can imagine a company like Apple aligning with them or buying them out. As for price, I think XRP goes up, and I'll hold onto a few, but they will be more of a transactional device than valuable in themselves imo.

Waste of time to have any association with any coins that are pre-mined, imo.
