The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Thread title is misleading imho, this has got nothing to do with the identity of Satoshi.
Perhaps not with the identity of Satoshi. But the video is certainly crediting Edison and a few other names for having been responsible for laying the foundation for bitcoin to have occurred.

I feel its a false story used by the elite to discredit the real Satoshi
What the elite will gain if they discredit satoshi? Satoshi created bitcoin but he doesn't own it or something. iirc reading he owns at least 1.5 million coins The coins Satoshi owns is just one of many ways that the elite can gain. Most everyone using bitcoin assumes that it was created by a regular joe of some kind. I don't mean to describe him as ordinary because he certainly isn't. What I mean is that if the masses were to discover that the creator(s) of bitcoin are elite members of society then the their hope for using this technology to challenge current corrupt financial institutions/practices might be crushed.

But it won't take YOU forever... right? Ha ha. I know I didn't summarize the film. I chose not to because my perspective of the film will always be different from others. I can't assume that everyone will understand the video the same way I did. So I'd rather the community watch and give their own comments about it.

Are you for real? Who exactly hopes to use the technology to challenge the corrupt financial institutions. People are here for profit and for the amazing features that bitcoin introduced like the decentralization of the system. Even if the wealthiest guy on earth made bitcoin or even if it was a crypto-anarcho-geek that created it, that changes nothing whatsoever.

Watching it now. Too bad it's too infomercialish, let alone what wares they're tyrin' to hawk, otherwise pretty informative. Surprised the view count isn't higher.

http://pro.moneymappress.com/NVXBITCOIN1/ENVXPC11/In The Very Near Future, This Package Will Be Sold For $299 (Not Today Though) This is where I think they fucked up. This package should have been made available via pre-orders only, with a bullet-run of say 1,000, and a delivery date of two weeks or longer. These guys are so good, they could easily sell out a $10K-to-attend conference to teach wannabe bitcoiners how to use a Bitcoin wallet, even selling them their initial bitcoins at a 10% premium over Mt Gox's rate since they're so difficult to obtain.

WTF! Still watching the video, and Michael claims to know of a Bitcoin investment fund that pays out 280% a WEEK. I wonder if it's called Pirate's Unbelievable Financial Fund, or PUFF for short.
Paused, then typed the above, then went back to the video. Guess what? You no like 250%? Me neither! Luckily, there's a 463% Bitcoin investment fund just for us, and it's all explained in his guide. I like this guy!
EDIT again: Guess what? You no like the above two options? Me neither! I'm goin' for the $100 turned into the $4,367 option.
EDIT again: There was a bullet-run. The first 500 people only have to pay $49. Anybody interested in a group buy?

i counted the number of times he said "edison renegade currency". He could have save a lot of time by just saying bitcoin. you can talk a bit about edison in the beginning but keep talking about it for the whole movie is crazy.

Same thing happened - I'm running a malware scan just to double check. These are losers, don't bother looking.

Same thing happened - I'm running a malware scan just to double check. These are losers, don't bother looking. Off topic, but a malware scan will not necessarily identify viruses installed on your system. Botnet operators constantly re-encrypt their bins and update the installations on zombies to make them undetectable by virus scanners. Best thing is to either reformat, or disconnect your system from the Internet. Once disconnected, wait about two weeks then update your virus definitions by USB (not by connecting the system to the Internet) and hope that any viruses on your system have since been identified by anti-malware companies. If you connect to the Internet first, chances are the virus will update itself before your definitions, rendering your scanner useless against it. Sorry.
