Hello all,

Hoping this is in the right spot.  I am looking to withdraw money from BTC-E, and am in the US.  The two obvious options seem to be paypal or a wire transfer.  I do not have the minimum amount for a wire transfer, and paypal charges a eventual total fee of 11.2% which is ridiculous.  Has anyone had any other success with any other method of withdrawal?

Thanks!

I don't know BTC-E, but if they can put it on a USPS money order or do an ACH bank deposit it should be cheaper than a wire transfer. Some other exchanges offer this.

Why not just send bitcoin from BTC-E to a different exchange that allows easier withdrawals? People complain about coinbase, but I've never had an issue with them.

Night gathers, and now my bitcoinwisdom watch begins.

I usually send my BTC from BTC-E to coinbase, then cash out there. Coinbase has a higher exchange rate typically, and so far they have worked really well for me. The only issues I've heard are with a couple people buying bitcoins, never heard any issues with cashing out.

I second this.  You make $70 per coin instantly just by buying and moving the coins to Coinbase.  They get you the money in 2-3 days (depending on how long your bank holds an ACH).

Withdraw bitcoins and then sell them locally for cash.
