Hi all,

I've recently joined BitStamp from MtGox after hearing all the horror stories(withdrawal requests).

Now, it seems BitStamp is taking their sweet time in verifying new accounts, despite submitting the required documents and speaking to a customer service rep...

How long does it usually take for new BitStamp members to be verified ? and
Why do they spit the dummy in regards to PDF versions of bills ?
as both paper and electronic versions can be faked..., and paper bills in Aus cost extra, as companies try to become more "eco-friendly"...

Any thoughts ?

Thanks,
JetAir

We always aim to process verification requests on the same or on the next business day. We are also monitoring the amount of requests we receive in order to recognize any need for an increase man-hours devoted to processing these requests.

Please also make sure to check that your verification status is in fact still "Pending" signaling that the request is still pending to be processed on our end. If it says "Unverified" then the request was already processed and failed and we would kindly ask you to please check your email for the reason why and then correct the mistake when resubmitting a new verification request.

If a request should take an unusual long amount of time to be processed(at this time more than 3 days) we are available via our support ticketing system here: https://www.bitstamp.net/support/

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)

Why do they spit the dummy in regards to PDF versions of bills ?

Perhaps this is a euphemism I am unfamiliar with, but I just tried with a submission of a PDF, will it fail, it was straight from the bank?

If "spit the dummy means" it will fail, that sucks, I guess I'll have to print it and take a damned picture of the printed version with my cell phone, which seems retarded.

Hi my friend do you know if is possible to trade xrp in bitstamp directly into btc.....cause you see i have an account in justcoin,  where for 1 btc you get approximately 20.000 xrp, instead in bitstamp for 1 btc you get approximately 10.000xrp, this means if i pay send xrp from ky ripple account to bitstamp and tur 10.000xrp into 1 btc, then i can send the btc to justcoin and trade it for 20000xrp,  ......
I could do it 10 times x day and id earn 100.000 xrp or 10 btc.....however i just need to find a way to transform xrp directly into btc in bitstamp. ?..Do you have any ideas, if you help me with this and everything works, ill be changing my 70.000xrp, for 140.000xrp with a couple of smart moves....and 140.000 become 280.000 by doing it the third time....by the end of the day i could habe more than a couple million ripples...or 100btc approximately..
Or if it is impossible to trade xrp directly into btc in bitstamp,  is there another site that does? I just need it to be a 2 or 3 point difference between the change values in two different gateways,  and i could start producing a lot of money by just trading....whoever helps me gets a 10% commission on my earnings...
Think the market is in a very high speculation point between one gateway and another, and one can take advantage of this....
