I received a free Yubikey from MtGox.  It sat on my coffee table for a couple of weeks before I decided to use it today.  I followed the instructions and had no problem logging in.

I logged out and got in right away.  MtGox timed out my session later and I tried again.  It took a couple of tries before it logged in.  Timed out logged in again without problem.  Timed out and logged in with multiple attempts on three attempts throughout the day.

Now it won’t even log me in with multiple attempts.  I’m effectively locked out of my account.

Has anyone experienced similar?

TIA

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Nevermind.  Caps lock.

That's what I was going to mention to check first, since it was fresh on my mind after trying over and over again to get my email password to work.

I'm getting that now.

It'll send me back to the login page. Ticket lodged.

Make sure you're not pressing too long. We'll release a video soon showing how to use it properly.

Yes, of course...

*That* was the problem. Cheers! No problem with Yubikey people.

When I plugged it in, the Yubikey detected as a USB keyboard.

So yes, if you are pressing shift, caps lock etc.. It will mess up.

Yeah, that's how I figured out the problem.  It makes sense that a Yubikey that shows up as a keyboard would be caps sensitive.  Maybe if I would clean off my desk once in a while I wouldn't have stacks of paper flipping my CL button or holding shift.  Anyway, my experience will certainly help others.  I think highly of the Yubikey after using it for a few days.  Can't wait to try it after I forget to take it out of my pocket and send it through the wash.  It's only a matter of time...
