Nothing last forever. So it will come to an end but not so soon. Blockchain and crypto technology is new to the world .10years is not too old.Maybe it will last forever but not all the crypto many of then vanish in this hard competition only a quarter or less exist or maybe lesser.But yeah some of them will be more big maybe they will be some main stream company someday competing with some big tech giants. Nothing do last forever on this world and we all know that thing.We do see new stuffs and the older will just perished or been replaced by new ones and the cycle continues to forever. Do think that fiat can last forever?, the answer is not and so is the cryptocurrency nothing can last forever, some people would say that as long as there is internet there will always be cryptocurrency, but as the humanity keeps on moving on and developments and research are always going, it is bound that in the future a new technology will come up with a new way to pay for stuff, just like what cryptocurrency is doing for the fiat today.

I think that the cryptocurrency is a new stage in the development of money, because it has many advantages over the traditional monetary system, which does not have transparency and includes many intermediaries.I think it's impossible to make all people believe in cryptocurrency, someone will still stick to traditional methods of payment. The prosperity of cryptos depends a lot on global issues situation on Earth and human priorities. If there are no major ecological catastrophic events, World war 3, massive blackout due to some other reason or a sudden priority on something else than technology (including abandoning most of the tech), then cryptocurrencies are not likely to disappear.  Some might almost die by losing lots of marketcap, others will rise instead, but the tech will leave unless there will be found some major hope in the code which breaks the whole cryptography safety thing.
