With this ridiculous rate at which new coins come up every day, i'm really getting bored of this crypto-coins shit entirely.

I hold a very good share of DOGE because i did mine from day1 and i will continue holding it for a long time until it gets really valuable like 10cents/DOGE and become a millionaire or something

Everyone is trying to "get rich quick". If people would just pay attention to upward and downward trends, then they could make money. Easy money is never good money. Work for what you want people. Doge to the moon!

Anyone who wants to see Doge on the moon needs to keep mining it, purchasing it, and using it. That doesn't mean trading for BTC or USD. But use it so others who use Dogecoin can earn some too.

The only way Dogecoin is going to grow to its full potential is if people who hold a good share of it will spend a portion of it.  I think we need to spend a percentage of our holdings over the next 2 years in order to rapidly increase circulation into a huge market.

Dogecoin spending should be dedicated to infrastructure developers, community tips, award giveaways and the purchasing of goods & services.  

If everyone only holds their Dogecoin without a little real usage then it has less purpose which = less value.

Too much hoarding is not a healthy savings.

The key is to spend little and then earn even more.  Spend +  Earn = Moon.  

I really like Spend + Earn, But i'll never trade with my doges.
Dumping when the price goes high and again buying at dips its all seem easy at the beginning, but eventually they hold back the true potential of this coin.

Maybe if there comes a market where we can buy goods for our daily need(even if not all, at-least some like clothing, fuel or even a barber)  with DOGE then that is real spending, that day is when we all SHIBEs get to the MOON

Just today I bought a graphics card to start mining seriously instead of the pathetic hash rate of my CPU.
I agree that value in a coin is when it is actively used, but the exchange does not agree with that.
The value on an exchange is only set by the question: does someone want to invest value in the coin?
Does not matter if that is USD or other valuables, but the Market Cap is really a good name: the value
that the people who are buying the coin are thinking that it has.
So, as long as more people want to have the coin than letting it go, it will increase on the exchange.
Part of that is an expectation of value increase, of course - the same reason people buy gold or company stock.
You are right that a coin should be used - that way, more people get to know it, it is seen as a good currency and
therefore the perceived value will increase. Which will make more people want to buy it... To the moon!

STOP making memcoins. Just because dogecoin was successful doesn't mean you should start making memocoins and hopefully it will become successful. It will never happen.

I'm having the same problem.  I have several days worth of DOGE mining from my husband's video card (mine is mining RPC atm) just waiting to be downloaded.  I know that they're there, but I still would like to see them :-).

I advise anyone out there to hold on to your DOGE and not dump.  Use them for buying and supporting the community.  If anyone tells you to sell, just ignore them.  Look at Zetacoin for example.  ZET was at 0.00000076 on November 22 2013 on Cryptsy. The price started climbing and hit 0.00008780 on December 11, 2013.  It has settled down a bit since then but much better in price than 0.00000076.  ZET did this without much help.  At least DOGE has a growing community and some good people behind it. Much wow.  So if you have 'em, hold 'em and wait it out.
