I'm _hoping_ we'll ship a beta soon, we've got some outstanding build issues with the OS X version that are blocking a beta release, but otherwise it's looking fairly good so far!

It is necessary at this stage whether OP is active or not into this thread. This is community driven coin and they are posting updates time to time on social media channels. Dogecoin is moving forward so nice so that from my point of view community don't care about this anymore.

Yeah it does look that way because if the community actually cared you would have a lot more people in here asking about future developments and a roadmap but there isn't. Like I have said I believe that Doge is mainly used now days for transferring between exchanges and used for betting as its much cheaper then BTC and even ETH right now. That is where Doge has some advantages over the top two cryptocurrencies.

After Bianance (last month I guess) now Huobi also launched perpetual swaps for the DOGE coin with leverage of up to x75.

I have 6 asic miner (D3) that i haven't turned on for a long time (around 8-10 months). 2 days ago my friend contacted me, he told me that he found location if i like to turned on my miners with very low electricity costs. Estimated monthly electricity bill for those 6 asic miners is around $35- $40. I live in Indonesia. I feel DOGE is looking like to explode soon big whales are accumulating after previous push to the upwards and now it is back to buy zone. I am also buying more like the current scenario is in favor of altcoins and they are exploding so DOGE will follow the trend soon.

Doge might not be the preferred coin that it once was all those years ago but it is still being used on exchanges and that is a good thing. I think the best days are behind it now, Doge will probably never reach those heights of ATH again unless another wave of media speculation and positive articles come along like they did years ago (along with the Olympic team seeking funding) which might capture the public imagination.

doge is a coin that is moved by the community until they become big now, even though the core team is not active, but Doge is one of the options as a money multiplier besides that as a hedge, that's my opinion about the legendary DOGE coin

I commented on this in a past post that until today I can't believe that doge is occupying the 45th position in coinmarketcap, no offense to people who use doge because I use it too, but it is strange. there are altcoins that are very good in relation to doge and yet doge is in position 45 in coinmarketcap, is it because some people think that doge will someday have a very high price?

I have same feeling about doge and believe it's good to have few of them when it's low to accumulate. I wouldn't see any problems get few extra satoshi, so i'm considering gathering more dogecoin.
