If we talking about altcoin, check top 50 on the CMC, and you will find only a few altcoins (not tokens). Doge is still there.

during the year I regularly converted into dogecoin small profits from some second trades or from some surpluses. I'm still at about the same level if I look through USD. Bitcoin price is pretty aggressive right now and none of the altcoins can follow it. We just need to be a patient.

I like your discovery that matches with mine. The crypto market is on fire with Bitcoin last month and it can last for a few weeks. What will happen after that? A massacre for all altcoins or altcoins will have their turns to dance and rise? I don't say massacres on altcoins won't happen in a next several of weeks but I am really excited to wait for their turns of bull runs.

You are right, team members should concentrate more on active developing and adding more functions will always help the coin to increase its price even higher value. Dogecoin is not having many adoptions because they are not properly adding functions and this makes many people lose hopes on Doge coin.

I read your recent posts and am somewhat confused you last posted in March 2019 then went silent. You then returned to the forum today (18th November 2020) and made 4 posts all in this thread and it seems you asked them because you are confused about certain aspects of either DOGE or crypto in general..

Maybe you returned back to the forum after the prices of crypto are heading high again which is great because the forum is  a great place for all crypto users with all types of levels of knowledge but I think you are way off the mark with some of the statements you are making and questions you are asking.

Just for the sake of clarity I wanted to say that the posts I made about the people urging others to buy and sell when it suits their own agenda to make a quick buck were definitely not related to you and were not directed to you either. As always wishing you and your exchange success in abundance.

Absolutely agree with what you are saying but there is definitely more than air of desperation in the posts by some users that are advocating buying and selling at times that is suits their agenda. That is just plain wrong.

I just do not understand the logic of some people posting here, the prices of crypto will always have upward and downward turns yet as soon as there is flicker of movement they jump on the bandwagon and start encouraging others to buy or to sell. Mostly the pattern seems to be people buying themselves and then encouraging others to buy in the hope they can sell with a profit without a care for what others might be going through. As soon as DOGE climbs a little or drops a little posts in this thread begin to sound somewhat desperate.

It is unnecessary for any user to stoop that low.

One must be vigilant, as trading is always a risk, someone always will lose at the profit of another. It's not much different with stonks either.

People need to remember that this won't be the same as 2017 early 2018. Yes I think we will see a Altcoin run up but there are a lot more preferred coins/tokens out there now and also everyone needs to remember that there are millions more Doge in circulation now then there was back then so the demand for Doge needs to be a lot bigger then back then. Like I said there are many other Altcoins also now so the competition will be tough for Doge. Time will tell but just don't get your hopes up that we'll see 100 sats again like last time.

I have checked and yes I see what you are saying however I did say that there is a lot more Doge in circulation now then back then. Also Doge was a top 30 cryptocurrency but we have seen Doge continue to slide down the top 100 and I think it will continue to do so as more new projects that have better prospects enter the top 100. Don't get me wrong, I hold some Doge but it has lost its appeal from back then and now most people coming in are looking for projects that have active teams and actually working on developments which we don't see with Doge.

The code has been left seemingly abandoned for a long time so I understand your disappointment with the lack of development but anybody can add to the code and make improvements to it, it is open source after all. I wish there was some serious update to the code as it might give the project the boost it needs to make it back in to the top 20 crypto by market cap.

I agree and also I think something needs to be done about the circulating supply as I feel that its just too many coins circulating and with millions coming into circulation each year. Then I think we could see Doge return to the top 20 as the coin already has a huge community backing.

I agree and also I think something needs to be done about the circulating supply as I feel that its just too many coins circulating and with millions coming into circulation each year. Then I think we could see Doge return to the top 20 as the coin already has a huge community backing.

The deflation rate should hopefully help reduce that - better would be growth of the coin to new people - if organic growth can outstrip coin production then we are on to a winner without needing any changes. Its a shame more people didn't HODL in the summer
