I did not visit their discord but I used their multibit wallet a long time ago when I had some DOGE but read somewhere recently it was still working. Also, even on the DOGE website I think it still mentions multidoge wallet.

As most of us expected the price is now tanking. The question is will we ever see this happen again in the future or maybe even next week as there is still some chatter going around social media that its not over. What do you all think? will we see another pump like the one we just saw or it will never happen again? I know one thing and that is I got it completely wrong as I never thought doge could break 100 sats again. Still doge never broke its ATH when priced in sats and I think that this will never happen because there is just too much supply out there however I could be wrong like I was with doge not breaking 100 sats.

I've seen some chatter about this also but more so for Bitcoin. However if we see Bitcoin go up on this date then doge could also pump along with other cryptocurrencies. I still hold a small bag of doge for the future and if it is on February 4th and the price goes higher then this previous pump, I think I'll off load it all.

the fewer people download the blockchain and the fewer run full nodes with open port 22556,
the worse the network will run, and this will hurt everyone in the end.

Here is my conclusion after running a doge full node for 24 hours with ca 500 peers connected:


Ratio of Up/Download is 50:1,
this is also the ratio of incoming/outgoing connections
which means I am only connected to about 10 other full nodes, the rest are just wallets wanting to download from me.

Horrible ratio, and this causes even my full node to often fall back in sync for an hour or so.

A blockchain download until yesterday can be found here. The README contains the md5 checksum. Enter the line in your Internet Browser for downloading. The archive is a 38 GByte size tar gzip, created on Linux. Perhaps it works under Windows, but I don't know.
