is there any risks to merge pow with litecoin? thanks
Yes, it's going to cause continual downward price pressure unless inflation (aka block subsidy) is reduced eliminated. 0 inflation or DOGE will die if it relies on its market value being tied to BTC. BTC will simply not flow into something that is uncapped... Capped flowing into uncapped = Nope. Devs please remove any inflation if you care about this coin. Please. |

Imho, the sweet spot would be 2.5B; that would give enough coins to satisfy miners and stay away from the bad aspects of deflation, and at the same time it would be low enough not to have too much downward pressure on the price. |

Better work hard getting the volume over to DOGE/USD and not DOGE/BTC cause the BTC is going to continue to dry up.

I installed fresh dogecoin and litecoin wallets on new pc and put old wallets to folders.
I start synchronized them and LTC (151weeks) was done in, i dont know 2-3hours?
DOGECOIN start on 34weeks , after 10 hours i am on 27weeks about 110k block generated>
why dogecoin is synchronizing so slow?

ok sth is happening right now
0-115k blocks - synchronizing 10-11hours
after 115-117k blok - it speed up 115-117 block to 200k block i got in 20minutes

When I Installed 1.8.0.0v and started it - It said that the blockchain is broken , and prompted for rapairing it. Then It started syncing with the chain , but the wallet went empty and the transactions are conflicted. I'll tell when its fully synced if it remains that way...
