"Pleased to announce @GoCoin + @PayPal together bringing #bitcoin #litecoin #dogecoin payments to PayPal merchants" - Steve Beauregard

https://twitter.com/GoCoinCEO/status/514464858952069120

So Ebay (Paypal) will soon accept DOGE?
Pretty bullish I would say. Possibly 150 million new DOGE users.

In fact DOGE has less inflation from mining compared to LTC and BTC.
DOGE has nothing holding it back now.

For now this is for just Paypal Payments Hub, which is for businesses that sell digital content in particular. But it's a huge step forward.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

So what price is possible in next months for Doge in your opinion?

100+ satoshi is guaranteed.

Without the effect of hyper inflation and mine and dump causing potential long term investors to actually now hold DOGE long, who knows how high it can get. At next havling, DOGE block reward will be 31250 coins. It's going to be inflating at a rate of only 6.25% of its original inflation rate (500,000 block reward). People who FUD about 5% inflation per year being too much obviously forget how BTC and LTC have gone up 1000% in a year before at much higher inflation rates.

Excellent point, When is the next halving?

In fact DOGE has less inflation from mining compared to LTC and BTC.
DOGE has nothing holding it back now.

"In a blog post penned by senior director of corporate strategy Scott Ellison, PayPal revealed that online merchants will now be able to accept bitcoin via all three companies through its PayPal Payments Hub, its product that enables customers to accept credit cards, mobile carrier payments and other payment methods through a single integration."

In conclusion and reading news on the media:
It will be possible to acquire some virtual goods and services (such as micropayments in video games) by Bitcoin, but the multinational company dedicated to online payments don't allow the use of this money within its platform (yet) and they're taking many precautions to adopt it. This is the explanation given by Scott Ellison, corporate strategy director @PayPal.
When we say Bitcoin you can say Doge, because doge is integrated on Gocoin, is it true? And the news include Bitpay, Gocoin and Coinbase  Wink

So today's micro-selloff was probably caused by people thinking that the Paypal news applied only to Bitcoin and not realizing that Dogecoin was directly included as well.

Something like that because BTC/USD went up dramatically, but DOGE/USD remain stable, so essentially people started dumping DOGE for BTC. A few hours later we saw the price getting back to 75 satoshi on cryptsy.

3D Printing and Bitcoin, that's pretty cool.

I wouldn't say BTC/USD went up dramatically, and it's already down from the high of this pump. The trend is still bearish, there is a lot of downwards pressure, this pump will be over soon. What does this mean for Doge? The same drivers of price apply: block reward reduction in a few days and a lot of hashrate will ensure 100+ satoshi price livel.

What is more importante to me right now, besides de pump, is that DOGE is becoming everyday, more and more, an unavoidable coin among the cryptocurrencies. After nearly a year, it can no longer be seen as just a fad. Our DOGE is here to stay.

109 BTC buy wall at 80 on Cryptsy. That's the first time I've seen a 100+ wall on DOGE since early this year.

All nice and good, but how much will a Bitcoin be?  Will > $ 0.001 be ok as a x-mas present?

Edit:
The highest USD closing prise to date was on 21 January at $ 0.00182
The peak at $ 0.00215

There is an old rule on Wall Street, as is highlighted in Joe Granville’s book New Strategy of Daily Stock Market Timing for Maximum Profit: “Stocks do not rise in price unless demand exceeds supply. Demand is measured in volume and thus volume must precede price.”

Volume also generally precedes news, as does price. If you are looking for the downtrend to end, keep an eye on volume. If you see it rising (along with price) on good news than accumulation has begun.

To end on a timely note, if we look at bitcoin seasonality, the period beginning in October has seen the price rise in previous years. Perhaps that is a pattern we will see repeated this year.

If I'm right and we get the Bitcoin ETF and doge goes to BitPay and Coinbase then Doge should hit 1,000 by Christmas. I said this at 25 Satoshi by the way, before they got the cheap air deal.

I am not saying you are right or wrong and I agree that it is plausible.
However I would like to hear what you base your prediction on, since I am very interested in the DOGE right now.

Altcoins are getting noticed by more and more people and companies on a daily basis.
And DOGE is the number one Altcoin in terms of branding and name recognition by the public.

35 million dollar market cap is probably 1/10th of where it can be.

The beast rises.

My prediction for x-mas: Dogecoin >300 sat.

I predict it to be double or even triple that as over the last week or so its gone from 30sat to 60 then 90. I expect it to be 100 by end of tonight or tomorrow and soon to be in the mid 120s by weekend and next week if it continues to grow so much then soon into the 200s as seems nothing stopping it from going back to where it was months ago and back into its higher prices.

who knows it might even brake into the 1ks for Christmas only way to find out is watch this space.

I could see DOGE ending up at 120-140 if it breaks 100. Still over 6 days left until halving!
